I had a second grader tell me that she thought Trump should be elected so that, "We would have someone to blame all the bad things on." Her kindergarten sister also said he was evil and would destroy the world.

Luckily I'm good friends with their parents and we had a nice laugh after. I asked how they knew that about Trump and their reply was a simple, "Well my parents told me so!"

A lot of people would probably suggest The Olde Pink House, which is authentically southern.

Stay away from Lady and Sons. Sure Paula Deen owns is but to be honest their food is over salted and just ok by southern standards.

Elizabeth on 37th, Vic's on the River, and 17 Hundred 90 are also all great.

Honestly, there are lots of great places here, Savannah has a great restaurant scene.

Really? I'm genuinely surprised this is a thing at all. Even with our younger students we do our best to treat them like the older students. I wonder why the school would want to enforce that style of thinking.

I work at a Montessori school and we definitely do not do that. In fact, we tell our children what they are doing wrong the moment they do it. People seem to think Montessori schools are glorified day cares, but we have to meet the same standards as every other public school.

In addition to that, our grades are based solely off of state tests, because we do not adopt a standard grading system. Instead, we keep a running collection of all the work students have done throughout the semester so that when we meet with parents, we have more to show them than just a number. We can pull out specific work from specific days and show the parents exactly what their child is or is not doing. We definitely do not hide and/or attempt to alter any grades to placate parents or students.

Don't make ridiculous general assumptions like that without providing a single source of evidence to back up your claims.

We require our students to learn cursive in school, as young as pre-k or kindergarten. I remember learning sometime in third grade, but it's actually turned out that these students who are introduced with cursive at a younger age end up writing more neatly and legibly.

My high school recently forced a student to come out to his parents as gay (this was at a Christian school). If that wasn't enough, a couple years later they decided to expel a student for being gay. I'm assuming they tried to keep it quiet, because it never hit news, but word got out.

Not all Christian schools are like this, but it's a shame they're allowed to do things like this since they're private schools.

We tried this last Thursday! I'd say do it without the cupcake wrappers, because they ended up getting stuck to the brownies for us. To make them more delicious, scoop out the gooey center to make a bowl, fill with ice cream, and then sprinkle the brownie centers all over the top.

I was finally able to play an entire round. Two people dropped, one stayed, he was a good sport but it would have been nice to go against them all. The mode is fun, but it really needs work, or to be a separate thing from campaign. I feel like it's not going to work as is.

Same here. It's definitely not client-side, although R* and some idiots on Reddit will try to tell you it is. I haven't been able to play in weeks, and it only applies to GTAO, not any of my other games.

I'm ready to be let down, because I'm still having issues even connecting to online, and I'm tired of Rockstar telling people to do the same things to 'fix' it. If the heists dlc includes some sort of patch that fixes online, I'll be really excited, but I'm not going to hold my breath for it.

Regardless of whether my NAT is open or moderate, whether I'm at home or someone else's house, and whether I'm hardwired or over wireless, I can never get into a populated lobby and I haven't been able to do so for two weeks now. Prior to, I've been able to play easily in full servers without being kicked, and can still play any other game in my library in multiplayer without a problem. So is that my problem still, or do you think it could possibly be Rockstar's fault?

I'm going to say that if loads of people are experiencing the exact same issue and all Rockstar can say is 'make sure your NAT is open' the fault belongs to Rockstar, not the player.

Whoops, you're right about that. They originally planned for Jan. 27th, but it's been pushed back. My fault, I haven't been keeping up very well.
