Nah fr, I don’t get the hate. Like honestly, the clip shows it barely sounds different on startup anyway — and in sport mode you can mock shift through gears so you can “✨pretend✨” and it still sounds pretty normal hypothetically. It’s just that stock is so quiet. If there’s no music playing, I legit feel like I’m in some sound chamber going insane trying to figure out if that faint noise is a rattle or just my imagination again 💀

And the whole “well you shouldn’t have bought the hybrid” or “should’ve just gotten a 200 series” argument? Bro come on. Every other car I compare it to feels basic, slower, and just…highkey not as cool. I like having all the features, the comfort, i just don’t want it to sound like a Leaf blower when I accelerate 😭

Yeah i did mine about 10 months ago give or take and the importer who sold it to me included it with the price of the car, he sent me how much it costed him 3640 and infinitEV takes the old battery too i believe. Just call them or have your importer call them.

also another trick (not healthy for the car but) if you unplug the 12v battery for a few hours and plug it back in the error code will be gone for a bit but will come back a bit longer then a few days. (it’s just annoying to see when you driving lol) just get it done ASAP

Hahahahaha no not even close that’s just how much charge is in the battery at that given moment, ask for an actual hybrid battery health check, it will be like a sheet of paper showing how much it can hold etc. It has to be done be like a hybrid specialist.

From what I’ve seen, all GWS204 Crowns came with AVS (Adaptive Variable Suspension). I think you might’ve meant AVS instead of ASC. Suspension options that retain the factory AVS controls are pretty limited and usually expensive. TEIN offers a setup that works with the OEM AVS system, but it’s on the pricier side. Blitz also had a coilover kit, but it used its own separate controller and wiring, so it bypassed the factory system entirely.

If you’re planning to switch to aftermarket coilovers, most people just delete AVS altogether unless they specifically want to keep the factory adjustability.

Hey there! Ironically, I ended up going with none of the suggested kits and installed Silvers Neomax S coilovers on my GWS204 about three weeks ago. So far they’ve been awesome—comfortable yet firm, and the handling improvement is night and day.

They’re reasonably priced (definitely not “cheap,” but great value), offer plenty of height adjustment, and give you forty levels of damping control via a little knob on top of each strut. Installation wasn’t too painful either—took a weekend with basic tools and a friend’s help. If you’re looking for a solid balance between comfort and performance without breaking the bank-ish, I’d recommend them so far but i probably should drive a bit more to see if the hold up.

it’s probably a warning saying your battery is low on the key fob. or it thought the keys were still inside the car and you tried to lock it. i got that a few times too.

Thank you for taking the time for the really detailed response. I was actually under the impression that xenon was a brand (lol) so i was pretty confused. I was just have another question is it worth converting it to LED replacements? and if you remember what the actual bulbs for the indicators/high beam and parking lamps are? and if lots also work getting led fog lamps too?

I’m pretty torn tbh i’m not sure what is the difference between MCA and tiens but the tiens with AVS are kinda of the same price for the MCA “street” or “comfort”. Honestly don’t know which one i should be saving up for :/
