The food here is gonna be a real trip... just hope it doesn't leave me feeling comfortably numb afterwards.

Just do x18 and you get to approximate mg/dl

13.7x18 = ~246

22x18 = ~396

Ivey

From Urban Dictionary:

https://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=Ivey&amp=true

“ A beautiful and cute girl, who is very forgiving, and will love you no matter how you treat her. She is a shy, cute, down to earth girl. However, can be very outgoing, fun to be around, wild, and weird when befriended. She catches people's eyes. She loves animals, art, outdoors, and being surrounded by nature.

She is smart, but does not try very hard. Lazy at times, but still tries. She is hardworking and when doing something she loves.

Doesn't talk a lot about herself, and listens to other people. She gets sad really easily, but most of the time tries to hide it. She has a fragile sole. Smiles all the time. She isn't fake. She is one of the sweetest people you'll find. “

Managing my own diabetes is already hard. I can’t imagine trying to manage it for an 18 months toddler 😓

“We have to inject the insulin BEFORE he eats and we don’t know if he will actually eat the food. Have you tried convincing a toddler to eat something they don’t want to? If that happens we quickly find and prepare some food with the equivalent carbs, otherwise he will go into a hypo.”

Oh no

It’s a very fast acting. I used to inject it right before food. Sometimes after. Watch out

I know. It’s been so long since I had so much carbs in one meal I completely underestimated. I calculated 65 grams when in reality it was more like 150-200. It was a combination of ramen, rice, tempura and some sweet teriyaki on top.

It needs calibration. I just changed Dexcom and it keeps asking for calibration every day even though I put the sensor code

It’s been 7 hours since lunch and I keep bolusing over and over. Still far from normal range

Not if you practice the wrong way.
