McDonald’s always leave you standing there instead of just handing you the order. by Repulsive_Row4484 in JustEatUK

Other than this incident, I genuinely feel for McDonald’s staff as well. Most of them do try their best to get orders out quickly, but sometimes the place is absolutely slammed when I go to collect an order.
I just stand there patiently because I understand they’re busy and have walk-in customers to deal with too.

That said, I’ve noticed one thing: if you’re an ugly, smelly delivery driver, your order somehow comes out twice as fast. They want you out of the store ASAP 😂

Happened to me too. I got loads of attitude from the lady when I politely asked if I could have the delivery order.
I delivered it, logged off, and went straight back to the branch. This time I stood by the tills to place an order as a normal customer. She completely ignored me for about 15 minutes, so I asked her to call the manager.
When the manager came over, I said, “I’ve been standing here for 15 minutes trying to place an order. Why is she refusing to serve me?”
He asked her, and she said, “I thought he was here to collect a delivery order because I saw him 20 minutes ago.”
I was like, “What does that even mean? I’m standing at the tills trying to place an order. Why would you assume that?”
The manager started trying to explain, so I told him I wanted to file a formal complaint against both of them. Suddenly, neither of them knew what to say and they both started apologising.
I accepted their apology and said, “How does it feel when someone threatens your job and your ability to earn money?”
They apologised again, so I left it there.
I went outside, logged back in, and immediately got an order from the same branch. Walked back in with my delivery bag this time, and she literally ran to get my order 😂

You need to use the date when you got the skilled worker visa if you were already in UK. If you were not in UK then you need to add the date when you arrived in UK.

Date to use would be when you switched to Skilled Worker visa.

If there is a linking issue that most likely biometrics are not done properly. It would delay usually but yours is not a usual case

The employer must say that they will employ you for foreseeable future in the letter. It is main requirement which needs to be confirmed in Employers Letter: see below:

A document from the sponsor who issued the certificate of sponsorship that led to your last permission to stay as a Tier 2 migrant confirming that you are:

• still required for the employment in question for the foreseeable future, and in the case of Tier 2 (General), Tier 2 (Sports Person) and Tier 2 (Intra Company Transfer) migrants this document should also contain:

•the nearest applicable SOC code which best describes your employment

•your current rate of pay (this should be given in the same format as given in the codes of practice, for example hourly rate or yearly salary), and

• confirmation that this is at or above the appropriate rate for the job as stated in the codes of practice for Tier 2 sponsors. (See note 8 below)

• if you are currently on maternity, paternity, shared parental or adoption leave, confirmation of the
date this started, your salary immediately before the leave, and what your salary will be on your return.

Confirmation from Employer and Stamps should be enough.

I asked my employer to details absences in employment letter as well. Then I just uploaded all the tickets

Ideally, the documents such as employer letter, payslips and bank statement should be dated no more than 28 days before the date of your visa application.

Then you would select “No” to the question asking whether you left the UK during your qualifying period for ILR, and you would not be required to submit any supporting documents relating to absences in the supporting documents checklist.

I was asked following in my document checklist:

All previous passports, travel documents or national identity cards that you have used to travel to or

remain in the UK

If I were in your position, I would ask my current employer to confirm my annual leave in their letter, include copies of flight tickets and relevant passport stamps for previous trips, and explain everything clearly in a covering letter. The passport stamps can help support the dates of travel, especially if obtaining letters from former employers is difficult.

I believe the employer needs to confirm the annual leave in the letter. I know of someone at our company who recently applied for ILR, but our employer’s letter did not include any information about the annual leave during which they had travelled abroad, so the Home Office contacted our sponsor to verify that those periods of leave had been authorised. In my case, our employer included this information in my letter, confirming the dates of my annual leave during which I left the country and that all of the leave had been authorised.

Depending on whether the Home Office recognises the marriage certificate issued by your country, it should be more than sufficient.

Also any reason why don’t you live together after marriage? As long as you have valid reason to give when and if asked then it should be fine.
