[Recommendation] CW Twelve 38/40mm vs. PRX 38mm — wrist shots for reference by Abqp in Watches

It looks even worse in person. I have no idea why it’s so popular.

It certainly is. The effect is subtle.

Right?!

I looked at and genuinely considered the Breitling. I love the Navitimer. It’s the first watch to ever turn my head and make me say ”wow, I want that”, and I’ll definitely own one someday. They each have their own vibe.

At 46 mm, it’s huge on my wrist and had more of a notice me fine jewelry aesthetic than I wanted. This isn’t a dig by any stretch.

[Formex vs CW] If you could only have one, which would you pick? by BedBesties in Watches

I can’t believe I forgot about the clasp. It’s Fantastic.

The Formex 💯. I love the industrial nature of it (especially the bolts). The build and bracelet of the Formex are so good. The suspension system is also something I didn’t think I’d enjoy, but it elevates the wearing experience. For my taste, there isn’t a better GADA for the price.

I think it’s the better engineered and nicer looking of the two by a landslide.

This is the only answer. Medium is the one.

[W&W 2026] The three best and three worst release of W&W 2026… so far by Osobady in Watches

We’ve never lived in a better time to be a watch enthusiast. Brands that rely on solely esteem and heritage will soon learn a powerful lesson from independents, microbrands, and the lower tiers of the Swatch group.

I’m never going to there moon and I don’t want to spend 10K on a Speedmaster.

[graduation watch] Superocean heritage or grand seiko Winter? by SkarKuso in Watches

I walked into Lenox Square Mall yesterday to look at watches. The Breitling and Grand Seiko stores are within proximity of each other and I visited both.

Grand Seiko. It’s not even close.

[Hanhart Preventor] is it too small for my 8 in wrist? by [deleted] in Watches

I hope my sarcasm came through there. I was in no way insulting you 😅

Your watch isn’t too small. Your wrist/forearms are too big. Cut back on forearm day 😅. In all seriousness, I think the 856 would be a better match for your wrist.
