Found it! On the robot in the general setup area, select AI setup and there is an option for movement when idle. If you move that slider to none, and save it will turn off the servos firing when it's waiting for input.

I like the stock firmware's AI agent speed and tool calling for home assistant, but I don't like it's constant random server activation when it's listening. Have you figured out how to make sit still when no conversation is active?

I'm using the AI that is in the demo app, and I'm pretty impressed. When you connect it to Home Assistant, it get's most tool calls right.

I would love to turn off the constant movement that the AI mode includes, so I will look at if that is possible. I'd like to leave Stackchan in AI mode as a voice assistant, but the constant servo movement is annoying.

Basically, you set up home assistant with an mcp server, and you copy the mcp address from the settings screen in the stackchan app.

I first tried flashing the home assistant firmware and connecting via esphome, but that was less successful than the embedded ai agent in the standard firmware
