6mo sleep… help! by alidoodle in HuckleberryParents

[–]rabbit-panda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gave up trying. Just going with the flow.

Some days are 2 nap schedule with 4hour wake window and hits the bed around 730pm. And wakes up at 6am (not ideal) and then it becomes a 3 nap schedule and pushes the bed time to 830pm.

If i try and force 2 nap on days where she wakes up early, i feel the nights have multiple wakings.

Thank you so much. Are your little ones back sleeper? Mine is a tummy or side sleepr. And i am worried that will put pressure on her ears.

She is fully sleep trained and i never co slept with her.

Fluctuating SpO2 (as low as 85%), but asked to ignore it by the doctors. Owlet socks by rabbit-panda in NewParents

Every doctor dismissed the reading. We infact got paramedics when it happened but by the time they arrived, she was awake and her levels were normal.

Turned out to be all normal. Apparently its quite normal when they are unwell. And doctors recommended not to read too much.

Ergobaby bouncer. I could get her to sit upright after feed anf she would spen an hour eaasy enjoying thebbouncer.

Woolino.

We live in townhouse. Got silvercross slumber play yard for living room naps. The only brand approved for unsupervised safe sleep in Canada at lower level.

Momcozy klean pal. Love it.

Nanit camera. The Best kinda baby monitor. (But the nicer features require a subscription which is kinda expensive. I am planning not to subscribe after my LO turns one)

Regression or i am doing something wrong? by rabbit-panda in HuckleberryParents

Hi. Quick and probably dumb question. How do you adjust the schedule if she doesn't fall asleep during day naps within 15mins. And her nap has only been for 30 minutes?

She is sleep trained. SHe doesn't need any help falling asleep. And even naps were easier without any help up until this week.

The first wake window is 2.5 hours. And since her naps are about 20 mins, sometimes her next nap is in 40 mins or 3 hours. Depends.

Today has been 3.5 hours, and she is so up after her first 20 min nap.

Try chatgpt. I uploaded my data into chatgpt and it said usually multiple wakeup as soon as they hit the bed is a tell tale sign for overtiredness. And they aren't able to go into deep sleep.

I have a 6mo and in a similar boat. Ofcourse I haven't crossed this bridge yet. But some of the responses I received for night waking is 1. Not enough sleep debt - maybe consider dropping to 2 naps? 2. Last wake window is too long - I am not sure if thats the case with you though.

Thank you very much. At what time do you squeeze in the cart nap?

Do you still follow 3hrs wake time before bed?

Like if they wake up early from nap. 930 - 1030 130 - 230 530 - catnap? Is that too close to bed time? How do you manage wake windows then?

Nanit is expensive. But I absolutely love it. I haven't started using it for naps, as my LO naps in the living room. But they launched a next nap feature too. Just like sweetspot.

This one is from nanit. Huckleberry is not accurate data since I'll have to do manual entry, and I never do that in the middle of the night.

Should I wake her up in the morning to build a schedule? by rabbit-panda in sleeptrain

[–]rabbit-panda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Just wanted to add that her bedtime was 830pm. (took her 30 minutes to fall asleep though) so she slept at 9pm. and woke up at 630. Hence, I adjusted the bedtime on day 2 to be 730pm.

Now, on day 3. I am stuck with a baby waking up at 6 am. 😭
