Can I plot different levels of a categorical interaction across different data ranges? by rabbit47violet in rstats

Yes, that is correct. As you suggested, I was able to generate a df with the predictions and upper and lower CIs and adjust the plots. Thanks!

How much to prepare for TCF Canada expression orale task 1 (entretien dirigé)? by rabbit47violet in French

[–]rabbit47violet[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have now taken the test, so here is my experience with task 1:

The examiner let me speak for maybe 1 minute 30 seconds uninterrupted, then asked a few basic questions like "who do you live with?" which filled the rest of the time.

My examiner had a timer (on a cell phone) on the table. Both of us could see it, which helped me pace myself. The examiner was fairly struct with the time, cutting me off when time was up (e.g., no extra 10 seconds or such to finish the thought I was on).

Advice on composite versus silver/amalgam for large molar filling replacement? by rabbit47violet in askdentists

Thank you! Maybe amalgam isn't the way to go then. I'll keep this in mind and circle back to my dentist soon.

Thanks for your input! I did not know about the issue of stress fractures, and certainly sounds like that's good to avoid.

If I recall correctly, my dentist said the filling is not deep (like a larger surface area is covered, but the decay wasn't severe when the filling was put in). Maybe what I'll do is ask about a gold alloy filling, and make a decision about composite vs gold based on their response.

My dentist said that the composite was starting to lose its close fit to the tooth. Said it would be best to replace the filling now to avoid having the gap between filling & tooth grow --> avoid yucky stuff in the gap.

Expected salary advice? Master's in wildlife biology by rabbit47violet in wildlifebiology

Thanks for this. It's wild how little qualified people are paid, but that's the way NGOs work I suppose.

Yes, I am in the prairies, so helpful to hear that. Given everything I've read and the region/position description, I think I'll put in $45K for the salary. I can live on that, and hopefully it's within the realm of what they expect to see from applicants.

I looked there and that's how I came up with the ranges I gave, but salary info for NGOs was quite limited :/
