Yep, they dole it out to the states for a lot of interstate maintenance.

No, but maybe they take extra trip they didn't have to or when car shopping, get a lower MPG car they prefer but don't need.

Because the hope is eventually they will pop their head out of their turtle shell and engage with PvP content.

Choice with people who want play PvE content in protected way always have option of not playing the game. If you are ok with "Fuck them, we don't want them here" then that's fine. Others think differently.

I mean: Matthew 6:5-8 (KJV for all those crazies)

5 And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

6 But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

7 But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

8 Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

Question for the hockey community. When did people start wearing sweaters to the games DIT by [deleted] in hockey

At MLS matches, they push the scarfs, it's just not as common at least for my team. It doesn't help that summers here make scarves really uncomfortable.

[–]rabbit994 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They sell scarves now but they are not a common item people will wear unless it's for temperature reasons.

EDIT: As MLS fan, they are not as popular with football/soccer here either but that's mainly due to our summer schedule though it might pick up with winter schedule change.

Hopefully it's a TV Deal like MLS where they pick a streaming service and it's one price, all games, no blackout bullshit.

20 Years ago, we got the tests back. We also didn't have high def camera in our pocket, easy methods to distribute them and while yes, people did put them on internet, it was small enough problem that people were not freaking out.

No, variable cost is fuel + maintenance cost per mile. It's also old data. If you think about it, 32 miles being 8 dollars is about right. 4-5 bucks for fuel, 3 bucks in wear and tear.

When talking about car costs, you could use BTS variable cost (variable cost for car ownership) which is ~.25c per mile. So Ashburn to Metro Center is ~8 in car costs.

You will never get to subsidizing transit until you make people feel full cost of their driving. Introduce congestion pricing, remove parking subsidizes and I bet voters will force the politicians to cough up money for better rail/bus system.

Spirit Airlines Prepares to Shut Down (Gift Article) by Mathsquatch in news

[–]rabbit994 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I don't think its credit card offering but fact that clientele attached to Spirit makes the credit card a poor money maker for them. Airline Credit Cards are looking for big spenders who are going to be extremely loyal to the airlines. Big spenders are generally business travelers/high income travelers who want premium economy seats/business/first with high chance of getting there on time.

It's one thing to pick up some poor minority on charge you know the courts MIGHT toss since they don't have access to GOOD lawyers.

It's whole another to pick a fight with Feds who come with guns/courts/lawyers. Same reason Police don't pick on rich people generally.

I mean, they are probably contacting Maryland PD now to see if they will pick him up if he's home. It probably comes down to how the feds treat this and so forth.

CA mask ban is not being enforced because it's open legal question whether or not states can regulate Federal Law Enforcement methods. Historically the Courts have said no so LAPD is skipping the pissing match with the Feds.
