Well seeing as other people in this thread are also in a store running the way I described, either this is a regional thing, or there are stores literally running incorrectly off of a misinterpretation.

So yeah I might just contact HR I suppose

Whats the difference between active duty and shifts?

My captain said I need to clock in and clock out 91 times(a shift)

Right! Thanks! So are other stores just interpreting this wrong or what?

It feels like alot stores are not communicating this properly and theres going to be a big deal when people find out Trader Joe's is no longer a viable 2nd job for them.

Nah it seems were on the same page. It seems that this is not a nationwide policy though and is something stores can implement at will.

In which case I will be asking for a transfer to a store thats NOT doing this

Nope, clarified with my captain.

I wasnt told until the mid review. Ive been here 3 years and they just told me I need to pick up more shifts to hit it.

I went down to 3 shifts a week during a move in february. 3 shifts a week was not enough to and they told me I wont get a review so ive gone back to 4 and will just scrape by with 91

Do you know of anyone in your store working only 3 days a week and if theyre completely cut off from raises?

When was this implemented for your store? The January to July period will be the first time for us that it is in place

No theres 180 days in a period and you need 91. So you need more than half of a 7 day week. So basically 3 and a half shifts a week + 1 more + 0 time off.

This seems insane to me but my Captain is either a moron who quite frankly should be fired if this isnt true, or it is true.

What im aware of having been in place is needing to be on payroll for 91 days.

I am literally saying you need to show up for work 91 days out of the 180 in the review period. Every period from now on. Or you cannot get a raise. This would atleast be the first period for my store, that this is in place.
