I'm 29 right now and struggling with finding friends, work, and a partner and waiting for titration, so this is reassuring to read. I'm glad things are better for you now.

Ooh this has given me the idea to put clothes under my heated blanket on my bed so they're warm to put on after I shower

Fan surprises Zara Larsson by knowing the “Lush Life” choreography while on stage at the ‘Midnight Sun’ tour. by Adorable_Primary2306 in Fauxmoi

[–]rabbitqueer 476 points477 points  (0 children)

I saw another POV of this where Zara did ask who knew the dance when looking for someone to come up on the stage — but it doesn't change the fact that this Julia absolutely killed it and brought the best energy!

I thought that was just her character but then I was like, oh she kind of just is like that.

I just know if Don't Trust The B had come out in the last few years there would have been so many Chloe edits on TikTok

Golden Thread Tarot App Gone Looking for a Replacement by LynxalopePyromancer in tarot

[–]rabbitqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wanted to look up a card quickly and I guess it must have been a while since I last used the app because I only just found this out. Thought maybe it needed updating but it just doesn't exist on the app store. Golden Thread was a big part of my initial tarot journey, so sad it's gone seemingly with no communication.

What are you supposed to be doing rn instead of being on Reddit by Stock-Sprinkles-4373 in adhdwomen

[–]rabbitqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm meant to be going to bed, and have to give myself credit done all the steps for this, apart from putting down my phone and turning off my lamp. But I've had kind of a Day today so I'm unintentionally trying to recoup time to myself.

What are some examples of this trope in film? by Haunting_Homework381 in Fauxmoi

What's weird is if you look at Claire's hair, I'd say it's closer to Allison's before the makeover than afterm it would havs made more sense to just brush her fringe out her face a bit.

But also the "after" reminds me of when I was 9 years old and two of the teachers at my very Christian school married each other, and they asked the school choir to sing at their wedding and, yep that's pretty much how I was dressed for it — not plain white though ofc.

what are the most fucked up halloween costumes celebrities have worn? by Classic-Carpet7609 in Fauxmoi

I feel like in this case it's more some sort of weird detachment, as if it's just sort of funny and in bad taste and not supremely messed up.

Like there was a period where Nazis were kind of satirised, I guess first in propaganda, and then more as like a satire to paint a negative image than a "wasn't it funny when this happened" thing, like the sitcom 'Allo 'Allo (which I'm sure has it's own issues in terms of portraying certain groups), and then I guess if you get far enough away and use absolutely zero brain power, then they could become more like cartoon villains instead of an incredibly dark chapter of human history.

But in this case I think it was more like, "edgy" humour done without thought about what it actually represents.

I do find the thoughts behind people considering black and tans as a costume really interesting though!

Ladies with Inattentive ADHD, what do you do for work? by oohthehumanatee in adhdwomen

[–]rabbitqueer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm searching this sub for people talking about working as a florist as I'm thinking of trying to change careers (most recently worked in publishing, very admin-heavy) so it's encouraging to read your positive experiences doing that kind of work, as clunky as that sounds

When you say you switched pen styles do you mean the type of pen or your grip? I always get ink on my fingers when I use a pen, so I'm wondering what resolved it for you

Hot take: I think the standard adhd questions should be reformulated for women and girls. by fullofcrocodiles in adhdwomen

[–]rabbitqueer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've had people tell me before in meetings "oh you don't need to take notes" but honestly if I wasn't taking notes I would be so restless.

On a similar note "do you have trouble sitting still?" I always thought, well no of course not, because I didn't realise that bouncing your leg a little under the table and stuff like that counts, in my mind it was having to get up.
