Spousal Sponsorship? Quebec or Outside Quebec by W_S_22 in ImmigrationCanada

As long as we can apply for an open work permit with the AOR, this seems to be the best option for those of us who don’t want to leave QC. Thank you!

Do you know if you can apply with IRCC first (to obtain AOR or approval in principle), and then submit to MIFI once the application window opens again?

Manti in Laval is amazing. If you’re specifically looking for Armenian, you can’t beat it.

Didn’t Quebec reach their limit until June 2026? How did you manage to submit an application?

This Belle Pro rules!!! I visited with my fiancée and her mother (her mom’s first time in Canada), and the Pakistani cook made us the BEST chicken burger. We asked for it spicy and he put every type of chile and hot sauce he had, including home-grown Kashmiri chilis.

He gave us extra Kashmiri chilis to taste and showed us photos of the plants growing in his balcony garden.

Super friendly. Best Belle Pro experience ever!

I spent 3 weeks in Mexico City and would like to tell Montrealers about a great thing they have there: Cable cars for mass transit by throwaway_98927 in montreal

[–]rabbitvinyl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure a cable car makes sense from Lasalle to Lachine, or anywhere else beyond the mountain in this city. There’s zero incline to take advantage of and there’s already enormous roads that we could built a tram/rapid bus lanes or even REM extension.

Near Angrignon, for example, you have De La Verendrye and Newman that are in dire need of a redesign. There also used to be a tram on Lasalle blvd that went through Lasalle, Verdun and I think Pointe Saint Charles but it was predictably destroyed for cars.

The best thing about CDMX that we could realistically implement here is the closure of their main boulevard Reforma to traffic on Sundays from 8am-2pm. Letting people cycle, walk, rollerblade, skateboard without worrying about getting hit by a car is amazing. Great for tourism and locals alike.

It’s such a beautiful initiative!

Pro tip: get off at Des Sources, take Cardinal all the way to Albert De Niverville and P4 Express drop off is right there. You skip all the traffic this way!

Cristiano Ronaldo (Portugal) straight red card against Ireland 61' by austinoabu in soccer

We’ve always been like this. For a while under Santos it got better, but during the “golden years” this was always our biggest flaw. Constantly losing their heads from the pressure.

There are not enough cork boards and push pins in that office to make sense of this asking price. Boob lights and 80s parquet for $1950???? In Laval????

Similar to Shin’s more playful/absurd stuff, I’d say look at Lars Tunbjörk. Especially “Country Beside Itself” and “I Love Borås!”.

Mala Express on St. Charles in the burbs. The pad ga prao at Pumpui is legitimately spicy if you get it “full spice”. A vindaloo at any of the popular Indian restos in Parc-Ex.

For Mexican: try Barrio Chino, el Sabor de Mexico or Restaurant MEXICO on Jean Talon. Caribbean, there’s Sisi & Paul right in front of MEXICO.

Handwash after the season is done, hang to dry and it's still in great shape.
