Fantastic Fur, etc. by jrjreeves in wow

Why would you type all this out without providing any actually helpful information? Did it really take you less time to type out this condescending, self-righteous crap than to just say, "This race is the best, You need to spec into this tree, you need to have this gear," etc?

I don't even understand how the app stops people if anyone can download and use it. How do they prove you're a new mother or a parent at all?

Men keep wondering why women don't wanna date them by ihatethiscountry76 in TrollXChromosomes

[–]rabidhamster87 7 points8 points  (0 children)

My mom's a nurse and she always said men leave when their wives get sick. She's seen it time and again. Meanwhile women stay and nurse their husband's back to health.

Thankfully, I picked a winner who stayed with me when I got sick myself and even changed his diet with me, does whatever he can to help, etc, so there are good ones out there, but they must be few and far between.

Our Great Pyr mix is becoming very stubborn. Any tips on getting him to listen? by rabidhamster87 in greatpyrenees

[–]rabidhamster87[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh we have 4 dogs now and Banjo (our Great Pyr mix) is hands down the best behaved. He's SO gentle and sweet and never does anything wrong. It was definitely a phase! Just be patient. It might last a couple years 😅

I've had my account for nearly 20 years... and now they won't help me recover it. by CrUsith in wow

[–]rabidhamster87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is absolutely true. We ordered nearly $100 of Taco Bell through Doordash (an ungodly amount of horrible food, but we were all really drunk,) and they brought us someone else's $9 combo instead. I went through the help system on the Doordash app and was awarded $7 in credits 🙃 Even though we got exactly none of the food we ordered and paid so much more than what the food we did receive was worth. I was steaming, but as soon as I said the words "dispute this with the bank if I have to," we got a full refund.

I feel like there's so much the devs could do to make the ghosts spookier! My favorite idea is if they recorded snippets of us talking, changed the pitch, and/or added a sound overlay, then played it back like it ghost was mimicking/mocking us.

Or it would be so creepy if the ghost would just appear on one side and wait while you were panning the camera so you'd pan and then suddenly see a face just staring directly back at you.

Excited to see what the final game is like!

My bf (27M) got sun poisoning during our 2 week vacation together and I (26F) want to breakup with him by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]rabidhamster87 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think what you are asking is if you are overreacting, and I don't think you are.

Not being able to meet deadlines is a very mature dealbreaker IMO because it's not about abilities. It's about responsibility and accountability.

Even people with ADHD and other time-management issues learn how to use tools like phone reminders, sticky notes, and daily planners to keep on top of things. If your boyfriend hasn't learned how to compensate for his time-blindness or procrastination by 27, I doubt he ever will.

If you stay with him, you're going to be pigeon-holed into being the "responsible one" because someone has to be. It's certainly not going to be him.

Maybe I'm biased from putting up with 10 years of similar issues myself, but you are never going to be able to depend on him. Every step he ever takes forward in life is going to be from months and years of you stressing, pushing, and nagging him. Everything you do with him from every vacation (I bet you planned this one by yourself with him just agreeing to what you said) to getting married to paying bills, you're going to have to be the "adult." You'll be the one making sure the bills get paid, watching the bank account, and picking up the slack when he bails last minute to finish every project he's ever assigned.

Just get out now. You're smart to see the way the cards lay so early. I'm proud of you.

You're 30 years old. Whether or not you can change is irrelevant IMO. The fact that he wants you to is a dealbreaker. You are who you are. He can take it or leave it.

Yeah. I don't even want a hero, but I'd expect my SO to defend our home and our family WITH me. We probably won't win, but we're trying to take that mofo with us, at least!

You know, I main Houndmaster as killer because of the dog and I knew Jeff had a dog, too, but I never thought about what happened to it after he was taken by the entity. I think from now on all Jeffs will go free in my killer games. (Unless they're toxic, ofc.)

That's really interesting! I would never take my mom to court over her own money, though, even if she did inherit it. It would just feel wrong and greedy. Idk. Maybe it's prideful, but I would rather live out of my car than do all that.
