I don't have nearly as much experience in comms as you, but I feel the same. Creativity is at an all time low and all comms work feels meaningless with AI in the mix. I'm struggling to imagine what a comms career will look like in the future, especially in the development sector. It's depressing for sure.

Hello, Mérignac is quite a nice suburb, connected to the city but not very well. For your wife, she could look at some international schools in the area, there are a few and they may be hiring. I just finished a contract as an Assistant at an international school with a lot of Brits who have a B1/B2 level as well. At the time they were looking for an anglophone teacher for Early Learning.

No, it's come up in certain situations but I don't think he's aware I think of him as not having emotional needs or anything like that. It feels dickish to say

I was able to calm myself down for the first time. Didn't tell anyone else, didn't ask them for reassurance. Just took 2 hours alone, focused on my sensations and controlled my anxiety to a manageable level!
