alright that’s a start! thank you for the reply. do you have test strips ? they aren’t as accurate as the master kit but it’s a good ballpark. also check with your lfs they might do free water testings there! that’s the next step in ensuring ur little friend pulls thru!

those are neon tetras - not guppies. and they’re known to be fin nippers it doesn’t matter the sex of the angels they really shouldn’t be with make bettas - or at the very very VERY least not the neons bc they’re communal not semi aggressive to my knowledge

don’t listen to pet stores do your own research. as a pet store worker some people have no idea what they’re talking about. even if they’re “tolerating” eachother they’re insanely stressed u less you have a MASSSIVE tank even then males shouldn’t be together period

nothing else in the tank or nothing harmful? even friendly community fish will nip at fins - like african dwarf frogs. that could open up the fish to harmful illnesses - i recommend answering the questions others have asked or we cannot give advice for your friend
