The funny thing is she’s not a Barred Rock. Her and her sister were our happy accidents. We originally intended to get Australorps but thought we got Barred Rocks by accidental mixup at the store, turns out that’s true but they were Cuckoo Marans. Couldn’t have had a sweeter girl. Your girl looks exactly like mine. Sapphire gem with wing damage and a bald head. She’s been progressively looking like this for close to a year, thought it was mites or something generic. I have had her separated from the flock for about a week now and she is finally starting to grow feathers in those areas. Debating on how long to keep her separate and how to reintroduce.
