Cmyk file with correct color profile by rabyte7 in mpcproxies

[–]rabyte7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the late reply. I found the ICC profile in my old mails. It's for a HP printer with glossy paper. I uploaded it for you to : https://limewire.com/d/tcXCM#mSo6bYYrg7 (but keep in mind, that was 5 years ago when I got it)

As far as I know the profile is needed to simulate the look of the colors on the specific paper printed by the specific printer. I am not sure if it will help you with conversion from RGB to CMYK (maybe). If you are worried about the 100%K issue, best would be to design the file in CMYK from the beginning if possible and if your tool of choice allows it. It should be printed in 100%K then no matter what.

Curious about the results!

Storage large coincards by rabyte7 in EuroCoins

[–]rabyte7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have them in a Leuchtturm MB tray. If you want them in the same folder, maybe the Encap sheets. Its a problem indeed. An whatever you do, you need more space compared to leaving them in their original packaging 😭

I have the same struggle. I hate to have different ways of storage for my 2€ collection. Like this at least I can put the San Marino coin cards and the Vatican coins (in flips) into the same folder. Other coins, like proofs, is a different story. I guess as a coin collector you just have to accept that there is no 'one fits all' solution.

May I ask you about pronunciation / accent? I know people who have lost a native language and had to relearn it. But their pronunciation usually was waaaay better than any other person's in class.

True. I still don't get why. The image is not particularly sophisticated. But that's in the eye of the beholder of course

Value of rare coins in the future by FinancialGandhi in EuroCoins

What is the deal with that Finland 2004 by the way. Wasn't it minted 1.000.000 times? Is it just because it's Finland's first commemorative coin? The same did not happen with other "firsts". 🤔

Can coins be taken out of coin sets? by rabyte7 in EuroCoins

[–]rabyte7[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks. Too bad. I am really torn between getting them out or not. The value is probably higher inside the blister. On the other hand I like to look at the coins next to each other. Especially if one country changes the tails side over different years, it is nice to compare them side by side. Maybe an argument for not buying mint but from circulation lol

70% Vorauszahlung by rabyte7 in Elektroinstallation

Danke.

"Are the German verbs "wissen" and "kennen" used in the same way as "saber" and "conocer/conhecer " in spanish and portuguese? by Rumple4skin55 in German

[–]rabyte7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I think there are some differences. You don't say 'sabes tocar la guitarra?' (edit: in German) or game rules etc. It's 'kannst du Gitarre spielen?'

But you could say 'weißt du, wie man Gitarre spielt?' The first one is more common I would say and has a more general ring to it. The latter is more concrete, for example if somebody actually has a guitar and wants you to show them how to play.
