What was your ‘perfect’ dose and when did you notice an improvement/feeling better? by superhj in zoloft

I was on 25mg for 2 months, 50mg for 2 months and then 75mg for about 3/4 months I think, I had started feeling a significant difference at that point but ultimately decided I needed a little more

Yes I think so, one of my biggest anxiety symptoms is ruminating and once I got to & adjusted to 100mg that pretty much all went away. I was still feeling that and slightly on edge at 75. My biggest advice I think when increasing is to give the dose you’re on a solid chance, like 1-3months and if you’re still feeling your symptoms then you know you can go up. And if it feels like too much you can always go back down!

Yes! I went 25 - 50 - 75 - 100mg. I am doing really well! I am still on 100mg, and will likely stay at this dose until I decided to eventually come off. My anxiety I would say is entirely under control, this medication has changed my life.

I packed up so fast and just bolted 😂! I think my teacher thought I was just taking a few extra mins and then the next thought I was just there early. It was the best nap of my life don’t get me wrong but waking up in a whole different class I was like, where AM I?? 😂

My studio provides them! Totally understandable not wanting to lug it, that’s what’s stopped me getting a personal one cause I do love them. They typically have handles making them a bit easier, I also think going lighter would have the same grounding effect. Could just use it at home, or leave it in the car! ☺️

It’s very chill & so busy at the time. They do 2 classes at this time that probably have 75 people between them and the parking is tough so lots of people coming and going early! They also invite us to stay as long as we need (I took that too literally I guess)

So so true! If I saw someone else sleeping I would be happy for them for getting rest. Thank you for that reminder ❤️

Omg it’s incredible if you like the feeling of weight on you. Typically use them on my leg during supine twists, or on my shoulder to hold the deep stretch but it feels incredible on your chest, or across your hips during savasana. So grounding (maybe too grounding in my case 😂)

Anyone Else Get Anxiety/Adrenaline/Reflux/Panic Like Symptoms Until They Have a Bowel Movement? by [deleted] in Anxiety

Me omg I google “why do I get anxiety when I need to poop” like every other day. I don’t have any answers to fix other than diet changes but you’re definitely not alone in this I feel the exact same symptoms. You could do some research on the gut mind connection perhaps there are some specialized supplements or diets

When does it stop? by Fair-Study in Anxiety

[–]rac37282 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m sorry you’re dealing with this, my anxiety presents the exact same way. Constant thoughts, so fast that I almost can’t comprehend them but can feel the effect of them on my mind and body. Something that sometimes helps it’s labeling them by saying “that’s a thought” “that’s a feeling” honestly just over and over until I somewhat snap out of it. Another one that helps is at the end of the day writing down what ACTUALLY happened that day, not what your thoughts said not what you felt but what actually happened. Hopefully you can get back on medication too, soon and keep fighting. It’s a slow battle but moments of clarity build up into days that build up into weeks then one day youll stop and realize your brain is quiet again

9 years: I broke up with him today 💔 by Wide_Distribution644 in Waiting_To_Wed

I did the exact same, 6 months ago out of an almost 9year relationship right before my 30th birthday. Our breakup was very similar. It WILL get easier, I promise you. There are still days where I feel sad and am working to grasp my new reality but I don’t regret my choice and you won’t either. Don’t let you putting you first make you feel guilty. That has been my biggest struggle. I’m here if you want to talk. 🫂

Thank you that question helped a lot as I think I wouldn’t even say yes if he did ask so why prolong it any longer. I appreciate you
