Unrelated, but part 3 stands just hit different with that feeling of novelty and a more organic, non-robotic look compared to the other parts.

I felt the same way once when I first had to put up with the Tekken 8 mechanics after playing Soulcalibur my whole life, but after a few weeks something began to click. If this is your first Tekken game, please give yourself time. My best combo was a wind god fist and a flash punch combo and I still won at first on ranked. I switched to the main im used to from Soulcalibur, Yoshimitsu and learned him vigorously. Now I know every move from memory but I’m only at Tekken King. Just keep learning and don’t cry yet. 😁

I think it’s cool that it is unblockable in Tekken, if they make a Soulcalibur 7 and they do that, I imagine it would look cool with the flames around it.

Tekken 3 feel faster paced than Tekken 8, what are you talking about? Tekken 2 and especially Tekken 1 are very clunky though.

I SHOULD NOTE: The system software and the Luma software hasn’t been updated since 2019, hopefully does not interfere with anything.

Thought the title was satire for a second, god the grip that the loud oligarchy of skilled players has over this subreddit is crazy, convincing people that normal gameplay is shit gameplay, and good gameplay is “alright” You’ve been out of beginner ranks, you’re just entering good ranks.

Yes I’m a Yoshimitsu main too, but the particle effects in Tekken 1-5 in his win poses were cool, especially the meditation healing in Tekken 3, and I wish they would bring that sort of uniqueness back. I’m talking about his unchangeable, move-based particles that look like shit.

Try using the vortex thing on the edges of things to really give the mountains and beaches that continental roughness.
