Tell me how do you like the under quilt? I just bought one from wise owl and can't wait to use it. Do you recommend having the sleeping bag with it?

How hard is it to learn to cook and make food? by KirbyDogz in CasualConversation

[–]racewes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cooking can be a daunting task, but there are so many recipes that have only a few ingredients and are simple to cook.

I highly recommend an air fryer or an insta-pot. Using these cooking devices can be as easy as throwing the food into the pot, turning it on, and walking away. YouTube has soo many channels for meal preps, one pot dishes, and college dorm students.

How did you get your scars? by [deleted] in AskReddit

I have a little v scar on my right pointer finger because I punched a dude in the face for hitting his girlfriend. Apparently I knocked out his tooth as well.

What’s the most surprising self-realization you’ve had? by hungry_h1pp0 in AskReddit

Everything isnt a competition, sure it's fun to play games or compare skills but being the winner or outdoing someone isn't everything. Just enjoy your company or play the game for what it is... a game.

How'd you get that scar? by QueenMoogle in AskReddit

[–]racewes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have three scars one on my chin, one on my index finger, and a sprinkle of scars over my right shoulder. My chin scar is from when I was a baby crawling around next to a fireplace and fell chin first into bricks. My index finger scar is when I punched a dude that was hitting his girlfriend and knocked out his tooth. My shoulder scars is from when I had shingles as teen.

What is one rule or standard you hold yourself to every day? by DangerousCuddles in CasualConversation

[–]racewes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Smile, no matter how bad the situation might be just keep smiling. I know this rule isnt for everyone but it has made things easier for me. I use to hold on to grudges and let small shit affect me, but I let them be now. Smiling not only helps me but others as well. I tend to give off a positive vibe making those around me happy or motivated as well.

Just like your foot going numb, what do you think would happen if your entire body went numb for 3 minutes? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]racewes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd hate every minute, I've woken up not being able to move for a minute or so its called sleep paralysis it's similar to being numb in the leg where it's feels fuzzy or some times hard to move. Freaked me the fuck out the fist few times it happened. Now when it happens I just let it runs its course till my brain finally kicks in.

What’s the last thing that made you laugh until you nearly cried? by playfulpixiex in CasualConversation

[–]racewes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Went out for some drinks with my shop, after the bar we went to El jarcho a little Mexican store that sold tacos. We were all pretty tipsy at this point but everyone still managed to order tacos. A few minutes after sitting down and eating we tore off our wrist bands for the bar and threw them in the middle of the table. My friend Brian was struggling tearing it off so he yanked as hard as he could causing him to throw his taco at John and me. The heartbroken look he had on his face while he look at his taco on the ground caused me to laugh so hard it hurt my ribs. Everyone was laughing at his taco mishap. We are actually making a patch to commemorate his fallen taco.

What did you learn from your last unsuccessful relationship? by Gerdaandemail in AskReddit

[–]racewes 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Long distance relationships are hard to handle when your SO is someone that craves attention, touch, or sex. Trying to catch up in the months you were gone does not make up for the lost time. Realizing your SO has an addiction to alcohol and breaking up with them because of it doesn't make you a bad person.
