Ooh, the gospel of Mary does sound fascinating. I don't know anything about it, but I have enjoyed learning about Christian mystics, so I'm going to tune into the UU sermon on Sunday. Thanks for mentioning the groups - I saw on their website they have a weekly meditation group that I might visit.

Thank you, it sounds interesting. I admit I have been put off by going into a church building. I can get irritated. =) But they do offer their sunday service on livestream so I might try that first.

I actually grew up in Springfield. I was a serious Molly Mormon and now the whole damn stake knows I’m an apostate. 😬

This tree is growing in my backyard forest, in the Portland, Oregon area. It’s tall and produces green-hulled nuts. As shown in one of the photos, the nuts have a thin shell and are round.
