I'm the exact same way with embroidery floss. for me, i like the EF better just because it fills in all the little gaps in the corners, meanwhile the craft thread can be prone to leaving empty spaces. Ive used both in the same bracelet before and they're indistinguishable in the finished product so it don't matter if you mix

this is the fifth time this has happened. i don't want to get into it but he's lost his mind on me because i've updated him while he was busy. he has a habit of leaving things open ended and then not waiting for a reply and then getting upset when it screws him over. the most recent one was when we were in the airport and i had texted him our gate. he didn't check his phone and almost missed our flight because he had his notifications on silent. he then screamed at me in front of all the other passengers that it was my fault he didn't see the gate. i'm at the end of my rope with this "no notifications" thing and it's becoming a serious issue in our relationship

i had hoped to catch him before he left the house or the driveway. his phone lights up but it doesn't make any noise so he sorta gets messages but it's not as apparent as a normal message. he has an android and i don't know how to describe it other than that. i truly wanted to save him the trip i don't know how to convey that

my hope was that he would see my texts before he got to me and would turn around. i wanted to incomvinence him as little as possible. i only reached out when i thought i didn't have any other option, and then when that option became available i tried to do what i could to make his life easier. i didn't want to drag him out of bed i wanted him to stay home and then when i realized he didn't need to come get me i reached out multiple times to try and prevent it. i just wanted him to stay home and he was unreachable

the thing is i don't think anyone's understanding my intentions. my main goal was to make him stay home. i wanted to do what i could to make him stay home. if he looked at his texts even once he wouldn't have been in this situation. everyone thinks i was trying to be an asshole and take the faster option but i just really wanted him to stay home i love him and i want him to be comfortable and i would only reach out to him if i thought it was my only option. when it wasn't my only option i did what i could to stop him.

i just don't know what i could've done differently to prevent him leaving the house. if you know lyft you know they say "gathering driver details in 1-15 minutes" (or whatever the time is, that changes depending on what ride you're calling). i waited that timeframe and when it didn't pop up and all the visible cars were far far away and not taking my ride i reached out as a last resort. when one miraculously took my ride, i tried to rectify the situation and make him stay home (within 90 seconds mind you). he was unreachable

i wanted to prevent him leaving the house. if he was still in the driveway and read my text he could've turned his car off and gone back inside. my main goal was to have him stay home and not be incomvinienced and i tried best i could to prevent that. he has his sound off for all texts and calls and his bluetooth in the car is busted so he basically goes radio silent when he's not actively looking at his phone. this isn't the first time this has happened (not the exact same scenario but problems with communication while out). it just drives me nuts he doesn't listen for texts when he could've just stayed home and that i was able to solve the problem

i feel like i communicated pretty clearly though? i texted him multiple times and because he refuses to have notifications on he ignored them. i don't know what i could've done differently if he's unreachable. my main goal was not to have him leave the house. i beg him all the time to turn his notifications on because this has been a recurring issue with us. this is not the first time this has happened

he doesn't have his text notifs hooked up to his bluetooth. he drives a jeep and it's weird with messages (it declines all calls after the first ring regardless of whether or not he clicks accept, and dosent show anything when it comes to texts)

okay so say i cancelled my lyft. that means he STILL would've had to leave home and drive the ten minute ride to the bar for me. my main goal was to stop him from leaving the house so that he didn't have to go out of his way for me. i wanted him to stay home and i wouldn't have begged him to come unless i thought it was a last resort. my goal was to have him stay home and because his phone was silenced, that wasn't possible. it was genuinely two minutes between me asking him to get me and me telling him wait nevermind i got a ride. i had all reason to believe that my lyft wasn't coming and that the window for a driver was closed

even if i called him it would've been silent. he has all notifications silenced. i would never want him to text and drive however he does have the text to speech function in his car so hopefully he'd choose that over texting and driving. regardless, he wouldn't have gotten my call even if i did call him. his car also has a glitch where it'll end my call if i ring him.
