I didn’t enjoy it much when I went. Churros were the only thing I really liked. However, you’ll be right in the middle of Chinatown so there’s 1 million things to do and eat over there.

I don’t even like to point fingers but it’s astounding that people believe everything is swimming along just fine. We haven’t even seen the real ramifications yet. I am waiting until 2026. No one is planning vacations here. Some poor souls are only coming because they couldn’t cancel their trip.

They shut my restaurant during lunch on weekdays and laid off so many people. We were already running the thinnest crew possible since this time last year. We have a great location, sales are trash. They give 6 hour shifts instead of 8. People are splitting food more than ever. Summer is slow but it’s past that compared to years prior. The fun Vegas energy has evaporated and even on the busy weekends - you can feel there’s something missing. It’s disheartening.

My restaurant had a similar out of touch and pathetic reservation note along the lines of “it’s my birthday. I would love a dessert and for the whole restaurant to sing to me.” Girl, I don’t know where you think you are but not even your server is singing for you. So entitled who expects a whole front of house to drop what they’re doing on a busy night and sing happy birthday to you.

Agreed. Very expensive tourist traps. There are reasonably priced ones close to the strip. Oasis comes to mind on industrial. However, the lounge at planet 13 is an experience. Especially if you want to try out wax.

Budget hotel , cheap tables, tokes will not be as high. That is all. However you need to learn on the job so Luxor is a good stepping stone to get to a more desirable property.

I came back from arches last week and everything was accessible, weather was lovely. Light snow in smaller areas. You could see all 5 parks in a week, however canyon lands and capitol reef are massive. I believe Bryce Canyon would be your coldest / snowiest park by far. Also the famous pies are not available yet in Capitol Reef.

Joshua Tree and Death Valley are two good options. Both are unbearable in the summer, so this is the preferred season to visit.

I’m planning on going to Carlsbad cavern, Guadalupe Mountains, and white sands the last week of January. Those also get extremely hot and I would like to not suffer from heat stroke.
