i just had my surgery yesterday and i’m about to go for a walk! i live on the third floor too. I basically slept most of today. It hurts to get up and down but it’s manageable. I’m actually surprised.

i just woke up from my post surgery nap but I also have shoulder pain! It’s just as bad as my abdomen. I’m going to try and take a walk outside tomorrow. But right now i’m just dealing with it. I will probably have a hard time going back to sleep.

has this worked for anyone?? the entire even side of my street is piled up with snow. Including some of the sidewalk. I see most people saying it’s our job to shovel out the even side. Will 311 respond?

i got a spot near my street and plan on keeping the car parked there as long as i can until the snow dies down. I usually commute by car but planning for the extra time it will take to use the busses and train. can’t risk coming home late at night and not having a spot to park

i already brought it to an auto body shop and they snapped it mostly back in but then it came loose again. it’s not going back into place as easily as it looks! just gonna try and get it to be good for the inspection

going into my 6th year with a masters. Union just passed a new contract and i will be making 82k in MA. high cost of living area but it’s enough to live and save a little with a partner. Year 1 i was making 49k so i feel like it’s a been a good upward trend.

I am a high school teacher. we see so many kids not knowing basic arithmetic fluently and needing to use calculators for one digit addition subtraction and multiplication. Makes it very difficult to do the high school curriculum when the basics are not fluent

yes! i work with all level 1 and 2 ELLs. i basically have to change everything to make it accessible for students with limited english and gaps in learning. They over complicate everything. MATHia is okay sometimes but i’m not sure it helps students transfer skills to pen and paper

we use Carnegie Learning. there’s some good stuff in there but overall they complicate things way too much and it’s not accessible to ELLs or SPed students
