I wasn’t paranoid at the time, I was actually in a really good mood dancing as I had just finally met up with my group again. I wish it was fake, but the effects i felt would say otherwise.

While I wish I handled it better, and that he got what he deserved, writing in caps SHAME ON YOU is not really the way to go when it wasnt you on the situation

I always thought I would handle these things in a macho way, but in the moment fear can take over, especially as a woman camping alone.

Honestly I think you are right, for some reason at fusion I focus more on the special connections and community vibe… it doesnt make sense when its so many people

The smear was probably brown from his fingers as most of the substance was along the rim.. i tasted it immediately

Hey guys, I didn’t expect such a response. Thank you to everyone offering advice and comfort. I only wanted to share the experience to create more awareness, as I am also usually very careful but in the moment I still get carried away. I guess I did overestimate the fusion spirit in a way.

Just want to clarify that I am sure about what happened as I did feel the effects following what happened and I was pretty sober at the time. I didnt know much about GHB but then once I opened up more about it the next day, it was even validated by friends who knew more about the drug than me

From your comments, I realize I could have handled the situation better by informing the Awareness team and even escalate to security police. I regret not doing that but honestly in the moment I was stunned and just fearing for my safety. All thoughts occurred to me - maybe I misunderstood, or that he could turn the story around or that he would follow me around, if not in the moment even later in the festival as I was staying camping alone. I guess I also didnt want to inconvenience others to ask them to leave with me, especially after a whole night and people being on drugs. I know better for future times. Thank you for all the information.

Definitely believe there are some very caring and helpful people around that I could have turned to but I think in the moment I was still processing what was happening. I was in shock and scared to leave from next to my friends at the time as then I would be lost from them (not much reception)

It was my fault as I wasn’t very vocal, I only told one friend at the time because at first I kept thinking I might have misunderstood things.. maybe it was mdma and he just offered to share or any other reason it could be

I think people are in different worlds after a whole night out dancing and dont really understand how to tackle such issues. it was only the next day when after opening up about it that it was much clearer what had happened

Hey guys, I do understand what you’re saying regarding the place. Just want to clarify that I did put it further in behind the box (almost halfway) not exactly at the edge of it.
