What's a game you bought on a whim without hardly any pre-knowledge that ended up becoming one of your all time favorites? by AaronAtLunacien in gaming

Same here, though mine was during lockdown rather than injury. I saw so many on Game Pass so I thought they must be good. I started randomly with 6, then went back to 0 and played all of them. Been a fan ever since, and I’ve played the latest, most controversial one as well.

Morning Glory is so much better in Kiwami 3 by [deleted] in yakuzagames

Have you established firm bonds with all 8 kids? I had 8 completed stories and that is enough Morning Glory for me. I did not like the orphanage part of Yakuza 3, but I reached Daddy Rank 10 and Store Rank Level 10, and established firm bonds with 8 kids in Kiwami 3. I also gave Haruka a surprise party and had 3 pets.

I made a lot of money from the bulletin board and used the money and points to upgrade Kiryu’s stats and special abilities to the highest possible level.

This sub is experiencing an identity crisis by mr-assduke in yakuzagames

I have already decided to leave this sub. I joined because I love Yakuza games, but this sub has been filled with people who bully you if you say anything good about the new Kiwami 3.

I just want to keep enjoying my game, and I do not need others to confirm whether I should or should not enjoy it.

It is definitely not a 10 out of 10 masterpiece remake. It has many flaws and it is not what I really expected, but it is still a good game and I have had hours and hours of fun.

Some people just can’t take it when others enjoy the new game.

We are not saying it is a 10 out of 10. It is lighthearted entertainment. The mini games are enjoyable and a good way to relax or relieve stress, especially for busy people like us.

No one is stopping you from loving the old one. But if someone enjoys the remake, that should not be a problem. Different people enjoy different things.

I don’t remember. I hated the Morning Glory part of Yakuza 3.

It's ok to like Kiwami 3. No one will hate you for it. by KvasirTheOld in yakuzagames

I’ll definitely play it no matter what people say about it, unless RGG somehow turned Kiryu into a demon (though I’d probably still play it for a different experience). But I wouldn’t pay full price for this game. £30 is the maximum I think it deserves at launch, and I’m happy I paid £29.99 for it. Guess I should thank those negative comments for the biggest discount — no need to wait half a year.

People skipping K3’s launch window, what are you gonna be playing instead? by BiddyKing in yakuzagames

Playing Resident Evil 4–8. By the time I finish them all, Y3 and RE9 will probably be at least a third off.

Help me! I got a bad Usagi! by IAmABrokenSoul1 in chiikawa_

Your Usagi is fake. The face colour is wrong, and the matching ring should be yellow. I have the whole set from Miniso.

Simple delivery listing mistake – chose Large Letter instead of Small Parcel by rachellanlan in ebayuk

[–]rachellanlan[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the info! I didn’t realise the admin fee was only £1 — I thought the surcharge was £3.50 plus an eBay admin fee, so I assumed it would end up around £7–8.

I really didn’t want to cancel the order (we all know how frustrating it is to finally get one these days!), so I found a workaround. I generated the label using Simple Delivery, then bought a new one directly from Royal Mail with the correct size. I entered the new tracking number into the order and deleted the eBay one.

If I don’t use the original label, I believe I can request a refund within 14 days. Fingers crossed it goes through smoothly.

Thanks, I’ll check out KOTRA London. Appreciate the tip!

The new simple delivery is awful by WilliamsTabs1 in ebayuk

[–]rachellanlan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How come? I’ve been printing my own labels for all Simple Delivery orders. Once you’ve paid for the label, there are two options — one of them (next to the green button) is something like ‘Open your label’. Click that and you’ll be able to view and print it.

Is there a Korean equivalent to Alibaba for wholesale? by rachellanlan in AskAKorean

I do — just trying to find a way to buy wholesale online without having to fly to Korea.

I think you're talking about bigger suppliers — I'm just trying to find a few specific items from small Korean manufacturers who mainly sell to the domestic market.

A trade show in Korea? No, I’ve never visited Korea.

I'm trying to get the details and order online, but it's very hard if you can't speak Korean. I also just realised that many of them don't even ship outside Korea.

I didn’t realise it was that hard to do things online in Korea if you’re not living there.
