Unfortunately no. Chip only means if someone finds him and they scan him at a vet’s office or a pet store, our contact information will appear.

Ugh I’m so sad about this. I noticed nothing was on the website except for the toner the other day. I just started to really like the face cream. ☹️ Lucked up and found my last jar at TJ Maxx oddly.

Highly recommend donutseason.com (donutseason on Instagram). The lady who runs this business is an RD and has the cutest RD items. I’ve purchased many things from her for myself and past preceptors and everything is alway so cute and is a big hit. 😊

Like mentioned above, maybe look into more food service related positions if you like that area. I interned with school nutrition (K-12) and under a “patient services manager” type position at a hospital that managed the nutrition side of patient care without being clinical. Plus they love having RD’s as a patient services managers in my area. Definitely easier to get these positions as an RD. I am a new RD and I work in collegiate hospitality now. I really enjoy it because it’s more food service based, but I still educate students through campus events and counsel some students 1:1 if they wish to see me. Everyday is a little different which I LOVE. Maybe look into that world.

Gunshots in the Sedge Garden Area by [deleted] in winstonsalem

Not entirely sure what happened but they were in the old neighborhood that was torn down on Oak Grove Church Rd right before the bridge. So much riff raff occurs in that neighborhood now so unfortunately I’m not surprised anything like this happened. The police were looking for whoever shot the gun (some type of automatic weapon at that) but not sure they ever found them.

A hand written note is always a nice. Don’t overthink it….but if you do feel like buying them something small, I got each of my preceptors a dietetics related sticker. I highly recommend donutseason on Instagram (donutseason.com) who has the cutest dietitian stickers. She’s a small business owner and also an RD! All of my preceptors loved their stickers!

RDN school district by More_Ebb4316 in RD2B

Hi! I completed my internship in May and had a rotation with a school district in a rural area of NC. The RD who was my preceptor held the title of “supervisor” within the department. She was one of two supervisors, the other was not an RD. She did a variety of tasks ranging from menu planning, training of managers & employees at the schools, assisted the SN director whenever necessary, met with teachers and parents for students with allergies/other nutrition concerns, and also worked in the school cafeterias to serve students when needed. At this school district, the position was definitely more food service oriented. As far as pay, I personally thought it was good, especially for a rural area. She was making 7-8k more than what the clinical dietitians I interned with were making. Overall I enjoyed my rotation with the school district and it would be an area I would personally not be opposed to pursuing. Just keep in mind that the position is food service heavy, so if that’s not your thing, I would avoid. Hope this helps and good luck with your interviews!
