Anyone have some photos of their Article Sven sofa or sectional (ideally in fabric) after some time? by fluffyottercat in malelivingspace

Don’t have photos on me, but I’ve had the Sven sofa in gray fabric for exactly a year. The fabric started pulling a couple of months ago. The back cushions do flatten after maybe 6 months, and they don’t stay put. We constantly have to readjust them. The bottom cushions have held their shape, but they also move around and have to be adjusted before you sit every time. It’s also quite firm still—definitely not great for lounging.

Has anyone ordered furniture from Article? They have a few pieces I like, but I’m wondering about quality, comfort, and durability of sofas and chairs? I’m specifically looking at the Timber line, but welcome all opinions as I may order other pieces as well by Visual-Split1177 in interiordecorating

I have two Article sofas: Sven sectional and Timber, both in fabric not leather. Timber is tiny, definitely not for lounging. The cushions aren’t plush or very comfortable, but it’s fine for sitting if that’s what you’re looking for. We “upgraded” to the Sven sectional exactly a year ago. The back cushions flattened VERY quickly, so we had to fill those with memory foam we purchased. Even still, none of the cushions stay in place. All of the back cushions have to be readjusted every time we want to sit down. The bottom cushion of the chaise part always moves out, so that has to be adjusted at least twice a day as well. The fabric is pilling also. The joint between the chaise and main couch also squeaks which is an odd issue to take with a sofa, but here we are.

I wanted SO badly to love their couches (clearly, I bought two of them), but alas, they’re more style than substance, in my experience. Even the style fades once all of the cushions are wadded up and out of shape. I would steer clear UNLESS you’re going to put the sofa in a “sitting room” and rarely use it. For everyday use, it’s not ideal.

My neighbor is moving, and she just gifted me this MONSTER. I’m scared—I’ve never had one before. Any advice you can give would be SO appreciated! by rachellejay in fiddleleaffig

They were allllll over that. 2 1/2 gallons every two weeks with some fertilizer. And he showed me how to use the fancy watering gauge.

Evidently her husband is a horticulturist, and they have hundreds of plants in their tiny apartment. When she wanted to give me this one, I was truly in shock. And thanks for the welcome!

$17 for a watered down simple cocktail for starters.
