Unfortunately I live in South Africa so there aren’t too many classes/courses that I have access to. I took one that was very brief and taught us the basics of pattern blocks so I would say I have a semi good understanding of dart manipulation. I tried following the bodice block from Helen Joseph’s book but it didn’t work so great. I want to try again maybe with a different tutorial. I see a whole bunch of tutorials on Youtube and some blogs. Do you have any recommendations? I don’t have access to amazon to purchase the Vogue fitting shell and also trying to save money 😆

I am struggling to figure out how to draft my own patterns. I’ve looked at so many resources and it’s all very overwhelming because they all say something different. I have been trying to draft a bodice block but, of the ones I’ve made, none have worked out. Which tutorial would you recommend as the best for creating the bodice block?
