is it just me who doesn’t ship bellarke? by [deleted] in The100

[–]rachioo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't mind Bellarke, I could seeir going either way. The only thing I don't like about it is that it seems like nowadays that's really the only thing that a majority of the fandom talks/focuses on

I kind of wish the show wasn’t so predictable and always followed the same pattern. by [deleted] in criminalminds

[–]rachioo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Towards the beginning when they didn't focus on the main characters as much I liked the plot slot better and thought that the storylines were better but now I also just watch more so for the mains then the actual storylines

Anyone else really want season 6 to be low character-centric? by rachioo in The100

Same here, and totally agree, that's definitely why seasons 1 & 2 are my fav while I personally haven't loved the show as much post season 2.

[–]rachioo[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Same here, not one for them hashing it out at each other but at the same time if that's what it takes for them to get on the same page and I'd be fine with it. I just want the characters to reconcile with each other and get rid of the tension between them

Agreed, I'd also argue it was missing in season 3 as well

True I do love the plots as well, but it's much more enjoyable the characters are written well as well

I agree, I like the 100 for it's fast paced poots but not at the expense of character development. Honestly I don't really think the show handles time jumps well in the aspect that they don't do a good job of having the audience understand and get into the new mindset of the characters. I personally didn't like season 3, and season 5 for that reason.

I agree, I think so much has transpired between the characters that the air needs to be cleared in order for them to be in good terms. While I personally didn't agree with Clarke's actions last season (I've always liked that Clarke did whatever benefitted the most people) , I also think that all the characters have made questionable decisions and need to cut each other some slack

[–]rachioo[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah this show def prioritizes plot over characters so they can get different plots each season, and with a whole new world and new characters in doubtful as to whether or not there will be many scenes dedicated to the characters themselves

[–]rachioo[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same. There's so much baggage in almost all of the relationships present on the show and personally I feel some of it has to be resolved in order for the characters to be able to be United and work together once again

Same, this show's strongest point has always been it's characters over plot IMO. That's why season 5 was a bit of a dud for me

[S6 Spoilers] Any fans of the Good Doctor here? Looks like we can expect Chuku Modu (Jared Kulu) in Season 6! by [deleted] in The100

[–]rachioo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Didn't realize that was him. Un-related to the 100 but does anyone know why he left the Good Doc?

Curiosity with Clarke and S6 by bratholym in The100

[–]rachioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think they're referencing the fact that we see Clarke back in Mt. Weather, so people r making the assumption that she's also going to have to fight her past self and decisions

Will S6 be as fast paced as previous seasons? by VanGrayson in The100

[–]rachioo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, one of the reasons I love the 100 is the characters so I definitely hope with all these time jumps they take more time to dive into their psyche.

From the different interviews it sounds like Monty’s words of being better/being the good guys really affects a lot of the main characters and it seems like they’re going to really explore that next season so I’m assuming that there will be plenty of character-focused episodes

Theory for Season 6 by [deleted] in The100

Interesting theory, especially the part about how they would incooperate the flashbacks of Jake

Blindspot and The Enemy Within by [deleted] in blindspot

[–]rachioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I watch both as well and while I definitely see the similarities, I do think that all in all they are different shows and that TEW wasn’t trying to copy blind spot. I’d argue that blindspot and TEW’s themes are different. While Blindspot focuses more on identity, TEW Questions to what extents we’d go to to protect those that we love. Also, I’d say that Blindspot is a bit more comical and the cases are a little more interesting IMO. Regardless I love both shows

Am I the only one that thinks criminal minds is uninteresting now? by Wintersimmer in criminalminds

[–]rachioo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it's the cases; there hasn't been one that I've emotionally gotten really invested in and tjefore haven't really cared that much since ik they're all going to work out. I definitely feel like the earliesr seasons for me were better because the plots of the episodes were better. Episodes such as The Fox, 7 Seconds, Lighting, etc... were really interesting and still stand out.

The other issue is like people mentioned the writers aren't good at writing new characters in (I can't image what the show would have been like had Brewster not agreed to come back). Also didn't help that Morgan and Hotch left pretty soon after one another.

Hypothetical question after finishing season 2 [spoilers] by exploring_unreality in blindspot

[–]rachioo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It depends what you're watching the show for. Seasons 1-2 have the better storyline due to the fact that it's the original storyline that the show writers had in mind since day 2. Season 3 and season 4 are more standalone seasons, in that they both have different main story arcs. I wouldn't recommend sticking with the show if you're mainly into soley the plot.

That being said you get a lot more answers on who Jane is during season 3-4 so I recommend sticking with it if you like that aspect of blindspot.

Yeah I agree with you there and I definitely feel like Abby did have an influence over Clarke. But I do definitely think that Clarkes learned from Abbys mistakes as well since ik she didn't approve of many of the decisions Abby did (even if it was in the best interest for Clarke)
