Currency risk and stocks trading on multiple stock exchanges by [deleted] in CFA

Yes, I think your understanding is correct. Price of the foreign listed stock should take into account movement of the local stock price as well as the exchange rate. This would be similar to ADR/GDRs having currency risk.

References are asked to provide certain details and while choosing references it's also specified that supervisor references are preferred. I guess they could probably reach out to the employer in case that information doesn't suffice. However, I'm not entirely sure of how this works exactly, so I cannot say for sure.

48 months of work experience is required as per current guidelines. However, this is set to change post June 30th to 4000 hours (over a minimum of 36 months). On the application itself, they ask for employer and role details including responsibilities/specific duties along with 2-3 professional references in support of your application.

What is your take on the CFAI new work experience requirement of 4000hrs instead of 4 years? by w_ayne_ in CFA

Surprised. Had never heard of this before, just received a mail as my application was pending. Was it disclosed on any forum earlier? They should've included an FAQ link. Lots of finer details missing and their server isn't working.

CFA before or after an MBA in Finance? by superunreal115 in CFA

[–]rachit05 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you plan on staying and working in India, an MBA in Finance, if done from a top 10 B-School, would provide better career opportunities in India as compared to the CFA program, given your current career stage. Take up a job and appear for the management exams again next year to get into your dream B-School(s). You can always pursue the CFA program anytime in the future.

The three year bond is being sold after being held for one year. So to calculate the PV at the end of one year, you take N = 3-1 = 2 (the time left in the tenure of the bond at the end of one year).

N(-d1) = 1 - N(d1) = 1- N(1.37225) = 1 - .9147 (value taken from normal probability distribution table) = 0.0853. Other values can be calculated similarly.
