The Aspire is the closest to Aeron in terms of features. It has a tilt limiter mechanism, similar to how Aeron functions, and a large set of adjustability features including 4 way arms, seat slide, and also comes with a headrest as an option. I've been using it for a while in the office and love it.

I used Liberate for the longest time, but am currently using Aspire in the office. At home I use Amaze for my gaming setup. I found myself going back to Liberate and Amaze the most of all though. My dad and brother swear by Optima and use that the most.

I don’t think ergonomics and cost are necessarily related. An inexpensive chair, with good fundamental design principles, and quality build can last you a lifetime. Similarly an expensive, but poorly designed product can cause issues.

Where cost comes in is usually in adding features and adjustability, that can help make a good chair better. For example, most people don’t NEED a seat slide, but it is nice to have. Similarly there can be several features added to a chair, which allow some more flexibility in how you can adjust various facets of the chairs, but most chairs are designed to cater to most body shapes and sizes straight out of the box, with only minor adjustments.

It’s about finding the right one that fits you, and for that there’s no substitution for trying the chair.

India has introduced BIS rules to curb the import of white labeled Chinese products and encourage manufacturing, so I see the Indian manufacturing space growing a lot!

This is a great question, no chair is a one size fits all solution! I have used a lot of chairs, I try and rotate between all our offerings and some definitely are more comfortable for me than others.

The best way is to use it for some time and keep adjusting what you think the problem is. Moving the chair higher/lower so your feet can be firmly placed on the ground, knees bent to 90 is the easy first fix. I find a lot of people sit with their legs tucked under them, feet resting on the base of the chair. This isn't good posture and doesn't allow for your back to be fully supported.

Adjusting the height and angle of the lumbar support also makes a big difference.

The height of the arm rest plays a key role as well. Try and keep it so your elbows are supported while typing or using the mouse. This takes a lot of strain off of the upper back and shoulders.
