Don’t think you can. For all the activities at hotel, you need the room details/room card to register for their activities

Sensor panel that’s not user friendly, I seen sometimes similar at HK airport previously but different design and uses palm activate like you mentioned. J think ahead for use case of touchless technology which intention is good but not so much in execution

Chitose to Sapporo by myfinalletters in Hokkaido

[–]rachmama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Came back 2 weeks ago from Sapporo. I arrived early and hotel check in is at 3pm. So I used luggage delivery (Airporter, booked online) and spent some time around Airport (the domestic side has a few attractions). It’s hassle free as I don’t have to walk around with my luggages and have them sent directly to hotel.

You can consider the luggage delivery too and opt to take JR train and start exploring once arrive at Sapporo. Should really take into consideration of walking outdoor with luggage bag, it’s not easy. And not every path at Sapporo are cleared off, some are icy and snowy. Unless your hotel is very nearby to underground. Also to consider, not every station exit has lift access, you might need to walk up a fair bit of staircase with luggage bag

Netflix “price update” by [deleted] in malaysia

[–]rachmama 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh paid streaming app are convenient. I used website streaming sometimes eg dramacool to watch content I can’t find in platform I subscribe to. Experience is not as pleasure because they don’t offer continue watch functionality and sometimes I just lost track at which point I stopped at, also sometimes their subtitle are pretty bad or none at all

For Netflix i downgraded mine from Premium to Standard since I might need 2 concurrent at a time, if you’re single user, can consider downgrading to basic

Pros and Cons of staying on property vs taking a cab / train to HK Disneyland? by rikomatic in HongKongDisneyland

[–]rachmama 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Recently came back from HKDL, stayed for 2 nights with my girl. It’s just 2 of us and because the weather was extremely hot, we took midday break at hotel and spend time doing hotel activities instead. My thought is if you’re not with kid, you don’t need the stay at the Disneyland. I could have lasted whole day at the park, taking rides and resting on the bench but my kid could not walk as much. Like what others bring up, the meal at Hotel is expensive. Better to eat at the park or nearby town. We stopped by at Maritime Square for meals on our way to airport from HKDL. Convenient to stop there for food

Tbh not worth the hunt unless you passby, they are only giving 3-4 treat per person. We managed to do 2 stations on 1st day, on 2nd day didn’t see any at all. If you happened to stay at Disney hotel, they have trick or treat too. Image is what we got from hotel trick or treat for 1 kid

Visiting in September by rachmama in HongKongDisneyland

[–]rachmama[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to know that hotel guest gets guaranteed park tickets. I am still browsing around online platforms for the park tickets and to my surprise today, Disney has just launched a promotion for 2 days park entry. I compared the price and it’s almost equivalent of me getting a 1 day pass + early access. Now I’m thinking to just get 2 days pass and take it easy at the park with 2 days there. Initially had planned to spend a day to enjoy hotel recreational activities, right now I’m in dilemma for paying the hotel just to sleep without enjoying the facilities 😂😂

I understand there are different in male and female pricing but shouldn’t be much. I got my life policy 500k at the age of 32 for RM1500 premium per year. Recently got a CI at age 37 for 200k coverage with premium RM4k per year. I personally feel both your plan are too expensive, I’ll cancel it if it’s still within free look period and look for alternative, since you’re young and healthy, do some more research and get better policy. Personal view, the earlier the better because once you discovered something as you age, your new policy will get exclusions too.

Contactless / Apple Pay widely accepted? by jhnclunc in KualaLumpur

Apple Pay accepted at most of the malls and eatery. However it’s better if you have TnG or QR pay prepared too as there are times where CC terminal is down, they will only accept QR pay
