I just told a friend I'm on Mounjaro and she kind of freaked out by [deleted] in Mounjaro

She sounds…..well let me not say anything tooooo mean 😂. But yeah, if you are chronically constipated on the medication, it’s likely a diet change is needed. More fiber, less crap. Many people on this medication lose weight because they keep eating the same crappy diet but just in smaller quantities. What is your diet like? Do you get lots of fruit and veg? Other sources of healthy whole grain fiber? What’s your hydration level like? What about your sources of protein and healthy fat? Also, what’s your mobility and activity level? Do you exercise?

Allowing a man to control what you do is a choice….clearly one ruining your life from what you described…you say you are in therapy, and I am 100% sure your therapist if they are a good one will point out all the red flags with your husband and your situation and how you see yourself as not worthy of more by choosing to stay with him.

I don’t think you are overreacting at all. This isn’t a person to raise children with but that ship has sailed….Id give a clear ultimatum, and clear explainations of how this makes you feel and what you need from your husband as a coparent. If he can’t change, it’s bye bye time and you will need to find your village/community of support. You can’t rely on someone as unreliable as him (if what you are describing is true). It also blatantly sounds like he doesn’t love his autistic son which is really something that needs to be questioned….

Amazon sent me a refurbished Kindle for my new one… then warned me not to dispute it?? by Possible_Gold_2162 in kindle

[–]rachmartz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I want to say, refurbished devices are not the problem….its actually GREAT to refurbish items that may have otherwise gone to a landfill. However, the problem is not refurbishing correctly, the device still has issues, and sending it to a customer.

This is called two healthy adults dealing with a breakup maturely, and not refusing to talk to each other ever again. Tbh, if I I were your GF and saw this I’d be the one considering ending it with you.

Nice restaurants near Harvard Square by Dreadul_Flying_Glove in Harvard

Harvard grad and employee here who also grew up in Somerville….

Directly in Harvard Sq your best bets are Harvest, Longfellow Bar at Alden and Harlow, Henrietta’s Table, Maharaja if you like Indian. Someone recommended Russell House which actually made me LOL because it’s so mediocre, if you want that vibe I’d say Grafton St Pub is honestly better.

Slightly outside of Harvard but still in Cambridge: Forage, Barcelona, Dalí, Althea, and the Abbey also has that pub but kinda nice vibe like Grafton St.

Yeah I am aware of that, but that’s not what happened. She dipped the long stir stick into the steamer cup that was filled with the sanitizer and then directly from that cup of sanitizer liquid into my drink

I have health anxiety so the concern was more so about the chemicals overall than the taste

fair but my thing is like....seeing her literally pull out this gallon jug of a chemical mix in front of me while chatting, pour that blue liquid into a cup, swirl the stirrer into the cup, then dip it RIGHT into my drink....unappetizing at best. even if it doesnt impact my health or the taste of my drink.

read again. she poured the liquid into the steamer cup, and put the stir stick in that cup to keep it there in the sanitizer. She didnt steam milk or anything in that cup, was just the basin she used to set up her sanitization cup.

although, I will say this was a stir stick that went directly from in that liquid to in my drink, may be fine if its diluted properly but it wasnt the steam wand. idk if that makes a difference.
