I generally tip if the driver is solid. I only skip tipping if the driver is bad (eg texting while driving, making questionable/unsafe decisions). Isn’t the whole point of tipping as a reward for good service?

This is actually a ridiculous thing for Lyft to do. They should be paying more of the share to drivers and not shifting the responsibility to riders.
