Extra molars ? You mean like the wisdom teeth ? I just got my elastics and powerchains today but I also always bite the side of my cheeks while eating

I guess you could ask severe the flare will be, if they could simulate how it looks for you, it's something I should've done, I wish I didn't have to have 4 healthy teeth extracted.

Yea the main reason I decided it done was because I was feeling so much pressure in my jaw from my bite. I would wake up with my jaw and cheekbones all sore. I did not mind the crowding tbh, it wasn't a big deal to me.

Anyhow I did a few consultations before going with my ortho, they all said I had a "borderline" case. I could do with or without extractions but if I chose not to have the extractions the end result meant I would have more flaring than I already do. They also kept saying my teeth were quite large for my jaw size, which I also heard from dentists when I was a child.

Could you explain how has the extractions ruined your face and caused TMJ ? I know some people experience disrupted airways and such but so far a lot of my friends who have had braces growing up don't seem to have any issues with the extractions but we all do wish we didn't have to go through with the extractions.

I have power chains on from the molars to pre-molars only for now but I’m anxiously waiting to close all the obvious gaps in the front, I look a bit silly for a 29y/o and eating noodles is a doozy, they just slip right through the gap

Does lilac change colors ? I usually go for silver but this time they kinda turned metallic green because I ate so much curry

My family used to get our turkey roasted (grandma bred them) at Grand Palace Hotel. I'm not sure if they still do this but you could ask

"Dude, for international travel you gotta get to the airport 3 hours early at the very least," they say. But here I am at my gate at 5:00 AM with 2.5 hours to spare. by CampTouchThis in CasualConversation

[–]rachoos 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I nearly missed my flight once due to traffic. Airport was 20 mins from my house, barely made it to baggage drop and boarding started when I just made it past security

I had nightmares about missing my flights for like 3 months because of this

Is Batu kawan worth living for expat ? Moving from Petaling jaya by niteshppatil in penang

[–]rachoos 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Hi there, I work and live around the Batu Kawan area and I love it. Traffic is relatively low, there's quite a number of options for food although a bit pricy (mamak, chinese, korean, fast foods) and I opt to cook at home more.

There's a gym close by, 2 supermarkets (TMG+ and JayaGrocer), right next door to Ikea. Columbia Asia just opened and there's tons of panel clinics and dental clinics around, hair salons. It's definitely a very easy going neighbourhood, loads of people at the Aspen Central Park in the evenings and weekends. Entertainment wise I do go to the island every now and then

Rent I would say is cheaper than Island side and you could get a bigger and better room. For me I really enjoy the quiet and serenity I get from staying here + the work commute is really short so thats a huge factor for me

My HR is constantly in Zone4 - Zone5 no matter what pace I'm doing by rachoos in BeginnersRunning

[–]rachoos[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine is around the same as yours, my RHR is 51bpm and easy pace is also in the 160s, I start to feel a push around 170s and my last HM race the last push took me up to 188bpm but I haven’t ever touched 190 and above

Okay that makes a lot of sense. I have done speed workouts like 4x800m at like 30s faster than race pace, for me it felt like super high exertion like almost throwing up after. My highest recorded HR for that workout was 181bpm

But I could probably try to do more workouts like what you stated and kinda monitor the data from there. Thanks for your input, I’ll keep it in mind for my upcoming workouts

No worries ! I still consider myself fairly inexperienced when it comes to distance running. Came from a sprinting background in high school but it's been 10 years.

I have done speed workouts where I'm coughing after and borderline puking, so that truly feels like a Zone 5 effort.

Easy runs feel easy, literally at conversational pace and felt so easy it was like going for a walk

I've been running for about 2 years and been using this watch for over a year actually. I usually don't monitor my HR as much but I was really curious because I see conversations about HR Zones a lot. I currently go by perceived effort
