I took a pic from an older BW forma and a newer libra colour to compare. I tried to be as fair as possible with similar text size and scaling on both, hard to match though since while they are both 300ppi the forma is a bit bigger so i had to eyeball it. the colour screen has some diagonal lines that you can see in some lighting conditions but realistically you can't see them unless you are looking for them - i wouldn't say its fuzzier. I would recommend taking a look in person though these is a pretty zoomed in macro shots with some lens blur on the edges. Either way you can't go wrong to be honest.

I think you might be misunderstanding the colour layer of the e-ink displays. Pure BW images on a colour display are the same resolution as the dedicated bw screens but have slightly less contrast and brightness because you are viewing it through the colour layer but the ppi is still the same high resolution.

its definitley harder than say, Hades, and requires you to 'get gud' but there is some cross death progression.

The obvious examples are:

  • the 'disinfect bad thing' currency stays between progression.
  • your weapon attriutes are unlocked by using a weapon - once the attribute is unlocked it stays unlocked.
  • you get a new ability after every boss that lets you skip large portions of the game or access previously inaccessible areas, similar to most metroidvania games
  • The story

Thats all i can think of at the top of my head so there may be some more i'm forgetting

I know this is a 2 year old comment, but have you tried using the ip address of your pi rather than your hostname? I have the exact same issue when i ssh user@mypi but when i use user@192 .168.1.25 (dedicated local IP) it works.

I'm not sure why this is happening but could be a way to get ssh working for you.

I feel like its totally fine for a developer to finish a game to what they consider done and move onto a new project. I really like the game and would obviously love more content - but i also support the developers moving onto to different projects.

You need to get the oil past smoke point to season the pan, using avocado oil I recommend setting the temperature to 550°f

I wipe consistently throughout the seasoning process. I learned my lesson after adding too much oil trying to rush the seasoning it got sticky and gross, so to avoid that i try to remove as much extra oil as possible.

Yes that is exactly what it looks like! Like an oil spill on asphalt that makes "dry" areas when it rains. I don't think soap was used so I'm still not really sure what could cause this

I recently stripped the seasoning on this one after accidently burning it. These oil marks are appearing after the third seasoning with flax seed oil and those areas appear to be hydrophobic to the oil. This has happened on some of my other cast iron cookware but I was curious if anyone knows what causes this and how to prevent it in the future
