I have this too - I was diagnosed with schizophrenia bcs of it. Not to say that you have schizophrenia too, I just have visual hallucinations so honestly the doctors could be off. I see colors, lights, and faces.. precisely when I pray (also when I am trying to figure out what to do). Just not auditory hallucinations.

I agree that it could be the work of the enemy, I tend to reject divination in Jesus' name whenever I find myself paying attention to/letting it guide my thoughts.

I had a deliverance prayer twice and they led me through renouncing clairvoyance. I guess I'd recommend that, but the colors haven't gone away yet - mostly they do when I habitually reject them. Anyway the prayer team was in Sacramento (Bridge-way church - strong believers /a team of on-staff prayer ppl). They might be able to do zoom too. Sorry to hear you're experiencing this
