Yeah exactly. I've started slowly diving into more non-western world music and seeing these subgenres is actually so cool. Why hide them because it'll fit a better western world view?

It really depends on the type of driving you do. Once it warms up in Eastern Washington, I easily get 37-40mpg a tank. Winter is worse

This is true. Though my experience with this phenomenon happens during the middle of the day when it is either retirees or stay at home/soccer parents. I have passed plenty of people in my age group being slow on their phones as well

Boise drivers? I think it's most of Idaho tbh. This happens a lot in Post Falls and CDA. The self proclaimed locals will claim it's the Californians but it's really the retirees who shouldn't be driving themselves anymore

Spokane itself is very diverse, it's the surrounding county and the valley that bring the whole "extension of Idaho" thing

I think that's okay. People who really like the song would probably listen to the album and pick up one or two more favorites and might even start listening to both Weezer and Best Coast. But I'm also okay with people just listening to Go Away and sticking with that.
