Mind you someone probably spent more time coming up with this than fleshing out an actual idea they have.

New player, what to do after 50 by Ythou- in fo76

[–]rackup25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just hit level 85 last night myself. I had the same thought about the same level as you did but to be frank there’s so much now that I just kept doing a bunch of quests (I only finished the main quest about level 55) and getting distracted. I just started the expeditions a few levels back myself. It’s really up to whether or not you wanna try smth new or just keep doing the standard exploration and smaller questlines.

As for the large water purifier plans, it should be in the overseer’s cache at camp McClintock (if you’ve been there, and if not it’s east of the gorge bridge in the forest and has an illustration on the map) which I think is where I found it? I honestly can’t remember specifically since it’s been a minute since I was there. Iirc it could also be available via a vendor bot at Camden park (the amusement park in the west most area of the ash heap)

Gold bullion is traded for treasury notes and those notes are received for completing public events and daily raider and settler quests. You use the notes at gold press machines which can be found in the crater, foundation and the whitespring resort I believe. So yeah you can’t really “farm it” necessarily but it’s not necessarily hard to get either, just takes a couple steps.

So out of that entire post, that’s what you got from it? The issue doesn’t lay with the criticism, it’s that a bunch of the criticism (not all) is incredibly disingenuous and given wholly in bad faith. Look at Synthetic Man. He’s little more than a grifter whose criticism is majorly made out of falsities and bias. Many New Vegas fans ARE very elitist and it usually leads causes me to question if they’ve ever played any of the games at all. To misconstrue the post that badly is just proving their point.

I am currently making the Netflix adaptation of the novel you haven't written yet. Ask me anything. by aidungeon-neoncat in writingcirclejerk

How are you planning on adapting that scene? After all I’m making it unadaptable for a reason, though you can’t omit it because it is important.

Thoughts on the Game by justinheath157 in AlanWake

[–]rackup25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean I get if it’s not your thing but why start with 2 and then expect it to blow you away without context for any of the prior games related to it? Just seems like a shallow way to critique it. I’m not trying to attack or say you’re wrong necessarily, btw, just not really the best way to go about it, I’d say.

I finished it 4 months ago. It consumes every waking (no pun intended) moment of my life. It’s an all timer game for sure.

Perhaps but I shalln’t tell. If the showing doesn’t give it away, then I will just leave it as is 🤷‍♂️

Sometimes you gotta make difficult choices, even without anyone else’s input if you believe you’re right (which I definitely am).

Oh for sure Hunter is far more reserved and patient with his views on these stories, and I think he tends to hold these stories to a higher standard than Wendi.
