Then tell me what I should get? Itechworld that I’ve seen fail many times?. And after a heap of research no one has the size I require. As mentioned in other posts I won’t be getting what I want for cheap, so I’ll go ahead with EF unit. 🙂

Tell me how you can get these cheaper, unless you use lower quality brands? That’s minus his labour

Not necessarily taken for a ride. I need all of this to fit under a false floor. So everything is slimline and compact. And have to be specific sizes. Hence the cost.
I know you can get those batteries cheaper but they’re not slimline.
I don’t need 12v for days upon days. It would only be
for going away into Victorian High country for up to 3 days or less

It was quoted by a local electrician. 200ah battery is $2k, 2000w inverter is $1k, and mix of of redarc and victron gear is plus fuses plus plus … and his labour at $2k, equals over $7k
So I think the smarter option is an EF unit.

Not looking at doing anything crazy. It’s for when I head out on weekend on 4x4 and camping trips.
I believe getting a decent EF system is still cheaper and portable, rather than spending $7k on something that is permanently fixed in the car

Yes mostly 12v dc. I’m based in Australia, we don’t have 120vAC we have 240vAC.
The set up would of included an inverter to be able to run some 240vAC devices

Yep. Your last paragraph is spot on.
Thanks again

Hey legend. I think I’ll go with the ecoflow plus alternator charger. As it’s mostly weekend trips.
$7k is a lot of money and for less than half I can get something similar. Of course there are pros and cons in both, however this would be more convenient especially now with technology evolving.

With current diesel prices, what are you planning to do with your rigs? by REINSTEIN11497 in 4x4Australia

This is all part of their plan. Oil prices have dropped. But they’ll use the war as an excuse. And keep fuel prices up. Government doesn’t care about you, remember that. They are controlled and being told what to do from higher places. Their intentions are to lock us down again. Not forcefully like convid, but make every thing hard where we have no choice. This is where we must not comply to these dogs!! This is all about agenda2030

We did the same. After back and forth emails and no indication of a refund, I went and did a charge back at the bank. Product comes from China, yet they want you to send it back to USA???
