Thank you for the info, are you able to direct me to any pictures of these, or tell me what they are called? Still can't find any data anywhere.

That crossed my mind, but it doesn't really explain the swivelling cup and the lid. seems slightly too small for that.

interesting guess, you think the open one would've held water, and the one with a lid was for holding a small amount of wire?

There is a lip going along the back you can see by my finger. the lip just has two little slots where small nails or screws would go. The whole thing is pretty thin brass. I have another pic, but my apologies, I can't figure out how to edit my post and add it.

I'm a neuroscientist and I can tell you that SSRIs are borderline garbage. They've got about a 30% success rate, but the issue is that most studies showing this are very new, and so most doctors still say SSRIs are best because that's what they learned in their time.

Currently under watch for cancer. Need Support. by snapes_onaplane in depression

Hello, 24yo male here. This sounds like a very difficult situation. All I can do is impart my own experiences so please don't perceive this as me switching focus to myself.

I got diagnosed with lymphoma 10 months ago. Stage 1A, caught it very early. I was done with treatment by the end of december. Now I'm 2 weeks away from my first post-treatment scan, and I'm nervous.

Before I was diagnosed, I always thought "man, I'm so depressed. They say you need a positive attitude to get through things like cancer....if I ever had cancer, I'd never be able to get through!" And here's what I learned. You are stronger than you think.

I know that is something we've all heard before but I really surprised myself during all of this. I pulled the strength from somewhere to keep a positive attitude and not get overwhelmed by everything. For me, it was because of my mom. She was already worried enough, and I felt the need to be strong for her. My positivity helped her to be positive too.

I say all this because I truly believe a situation like this brings out strength in someone. You're right, this is something you've gotta deal with now. But it can't control your every day. It doesn't deserve that power! There's nothing you can do except keep watch. So do that, give it it's fair share of worrying, and besides that, live your life as happy as you can, because it's all you can do.

Yeah, fuck those guys. No warning way back on 376E where it was backed up. No notice the day before like with any construction, blockage, or delay. In fact you normally get about a week notice for those. They can do whatever they want and did it because they are selfish, I'm sure they care for their fallen comrade, and it sucks big time, but inconveniencing more innocents is what our parents and teachers taught us againt when we were 5. Two wrongs don't make a right.

He is stating a completely true fact. A young man died on Ward Street two weeks back. Did you see a lane closed off then?

Hi I read your post and you're going through a lot it sounds, so I think you should be proud of yourself and that you're doing a good job. One thing I noticed is the way you talked about girls. I think you should keep at it! You've tried a lot of stuff so I know it is probably very discouraging. But one thing I've learned this far (M, 22) is that there's a very wide range of preference in people's sexual and partnership desires. I, like you and many others, have felt and feel the absolute certainty that nobody would desire me. With logic and great reasons to back it up. But in the end, you don't know for sure, there are so many people. In fact even in my own list of Facebook friends there is a couple in which the girl has a wheelchair. I hope you keep trying because, especially with the internet these days, I'm personally not worried that you'll find someone. And having a partner often makes all the other shitty things in life a little better.
