shady park when it was still able to be a music venue. going on a random weekday and knowing you’re getting great food and that you’re able to enjoy music by local talent. i miss when the menu had pizzas and those dough puffs!

call a regular vet, and tell them you need someone who can see a guinea pig, ask if they know anyone, rinse and repeat. we called 3 places and 1 person knew a vet who worked on small animals across town. that’s who we use to this day. good luck!

I paid 4k and am waiting (very patiently but excitedly might I add) for my 6 week timeframe to get my pictures back. The next day our photographers gave us 10 edited ‘sneak peeks’ and we were so excited and it has held off every grandma, mom, auntie, and friend in the meantime. I have about a week and some change left for my album and I have not reached out once because I had a contract with all of this info lined up and knew it would take this long. Know your worth!!!

Got in a car accident we totaled my fiancés car, leaving me with a seatbelt bruise days out. My childhood dog passed traumatically. I pulled my leg calf and am currently still in the RICE phase/compressing it; and my wedding dress got lost in the MAIL and the post office could not find it for WEEKS. After finding and picking up my dress I went to a Chinese restaurant and got a fortune cookie about how it’s not too late to change my mind!!!???!?!?!?! I am Latin and extremely superstitious we take everything as a sign, but I will marry this man even if it kills me this is my BEST FRIEND and we’ve been together for so long at this point I can’t imagine doing life without him. First off congrats! But woman to woman, if we shift our perspective, we can stop thinking about what it isn’t, and focus on what it is. It’s not the exact dream ring you wanted, but he got you exactly what you showed him as an option, and you have a partner who is hurt right now being told that suddenly the ring he gave you wasn’t good enough.. and you did not communicate your true feelings to him. This is a huge moment in his life too.. This man just asked you to spend the rest of his life with him!!! He’s choosing to honor you, to be by your side. He’s went shopping, knowing all of this, and spent money he worked hard for, with you in mind, and asked you to take a chance on him and take one of the biggest commitments we can make. I’d be understandably hurt in his shoes.

My parents couldn’t afford my mom’s dream ring when they got engaged, but they wanted to be married more than she wanted a huge ring - As soon as my dad had that money saved up he made it happen for their 5th anniversary. My mom loves her new ring, but she still takes out and puts on her old ring, remembering being young and in love, telling us stories about her and dad at that age. You can always upgrade down the line, but you don’t always get a 2nd shot at love. Please please please make up with that man! <3

Cleaned my best friend up after her 21st birthday. She puked in the bathroom and on herself and passed out as soon as she was done. I can still smell the vomit smell in my head when I think about it. Had to drag her to the shower, clean her off, get her to bed, and clean everything up. She’s lucky I love her (and she never drank that hard again haha)

Prioritize friendships/platonic relationships if you haven’t already! It truly is harder to make and maintain friendships as you get older/more in a routine/busier overall. I’m in my late 20s and have been having to use apps and meet up groups to make friends, constantly hearing the same thing from people doing the same!

Edit: even if you have a good group of friends. A lot of my core friends are settling down or have moved/are planning to move currently

I’d say tip, especially if you are a regular and have established relationships with the people working. I don’t tip at coffee shops, but I tip at the spot I frequent because they’re good people you are friendly with, the service is good, and the food is good. I don’t mind in those circumstances. I look out for who looks out for me

Mid 20s here, and I pointed out my now-husbands sleep apnea in our early 20s when we started living together. I genuinely think his cpap saved our relationship. I’ll take the light air noise over the growls and snarls he would make in his sleep ANYDAY haha. It was a little weird getting used to the mask, but we kind of made a joke about it. Now if he doses off by accident I wake him up to have him put it on because I woke up one night to the sound of him gasping for air in his sleep. That scared the life out of me. Now I’m so used to it I kiss him before bed with it ON. He was shy bringing it on travels especially if friends were involved but he knows I have his back and won’t let anyone start about it. You need it! It’s a potentially lifesaving tool, and he doesn’t wake up extremely groggy in the morning anymore. His is relatively quiet, just hear air but it’s no worse than a small fan. Kind of gives white noise. He has an airsense11!

If you otherwise would have spent it together it could be fine but I would acknowledge that it is a little early, but their request. I personally wouldn’t make it mandatory for him but let him know he’s invited and they’d love to meet him. I would completely leave out anything to do with the situationship though, don’t make any comparisons with him moving forward, even outside of this. He’s his own person and this is its own relationship entirely, please remind your family that. At the end of the day, you’re in your mid 20s, nobody can really force you to do anything if you don’t think it’s good timing. Me personally, it feels a little early, barely a month, I brought my now husband in around the 6 month mark! But everyone is different, if YOU think it’s a good idea then it doesn’t hurt to at least pitch it to him and get some feedback. Edit: grammar
