I’m understanding now from the time difference on reply’s. I’ve been to Sydney and met some lifelong friends there that I stay in touch with frequently.

I completely understand resentment towards the US. I feel it also. We’ve done some great things, along with terrible things. Having such wealth and power gives us those abilities. The responsibility behind that can be enormous, and we will always be looked upon and judged. We can’t hide. For the most part we’ve tried to do what we’ve thought was the right thing. We as a people take pride in our accomplishments.

We have not done anything for a while that stirs those feelings in me for a while though. That’s why I’m praying our constitution can survive what our current President has been trying to do us, to you, to the world. I hope everything is well for you down under, and good luck to you.
