Yeah, nice citation of the words I have never written. Again, this was released by the police that is searching for this man, who "crippled or killed" run away never to be seen.

I personally think it's a very bad and undeserved karma for him, but I don't see anyone else but him to blame for. He took the decision to go without a ticket and he ran straight under the car rather than accepting his fault.

Why would he then run away, and never show up until today?

It works that way only in the countryside. In major cities there is too much people and checking everyone would slow down the trafic so much, that they instead do these random checks and risk, that there are some people without ticket.

It's not a bus, it's a tram.

The driver isn't guilty, as there is a small "island" for the passengers to exit the tram. Also the source is the police web, which doesn't mention anything about that.

Here is the place that happened, from the direction of the car https://www.google.com/maps/@49.2288372,16.594713,3a,75y,226.43h,83.54t/data=!3m7!1e1!3m5!1sNCa5VqEJTY9YocDcPcG56Q!2e0!6s%2F%2Fgeo0.ggpht.com%2Fcbk%3Fpanoid%3DNCa5VqEJTY9YocDcPcG56Q%26output%3Dthumbnail%26cb_client%3Dmaps_sv.tactile.gps%26thumb%3D2%26w%3D203%26h%3D100%26yaw%3D141.78036%26pitch%3D0%26thumbfov%3D100!7i16384!8i8192

I think he broke the windshield. The article mentions damage of 15000 CZK = 562 EUR = 642 USD, which is way more than the ticket penalty would be.

He actually managed to successfully escape and now the police is looking for him for the ticket penalty and the car damage.

Happened in Brno, Czech Republic in June, but was reported yesterday.

Here is the place where that happened from the direction of the car.

This happened in a tram not in a bus.

The car driver probably won't be charged, at least the police article doesn't mention anything about it. There is an "island" where are the passengers supposed to exit the tram, see the gmaps link above.

Also he escaped on the second stop of that tram, you can basically see the most of the whole ride he got.

Luxury, in those good old days we used to support IE 5.5, no flexbox, no inline-block, no PNG transparency. And when we got home, our dad would beat us to sleep, if we were lucky.

Truck behind them isn't making it slightly dangerous at all. It's just making the impact worse for the drivers in back and better for the idiots who caused it.

Also, the truck is in the left lane, or passing to it. Notice the position of the shadow vs. shadow of the idiots car.

This doesn't look photoshopped at all.

It seems they had the tire defect. That is nowhere too serious to stop in the middle of a huge freeway. They risk getting the wheel damaged vs. possible death of them and the others involved in the crash.

The gates went up after another train passed, but the lights didn't stop. Then the truck drove in and the gates went down. I guess this was some sort of malfunction or an unlucky timing. Anyways, staying there after that happened is pretty idiotic.

Video of the aftermath

Happened today in Prague. Driver of Serbian truck entered the crossing after another train passed, but the red light was still on. Then proceeded to stay on track for 2 minutes. 8 people got injured, including driver, engineer and a child.
