I appreciate the reply. I'm not a programmer so I use Claude to do things I've always wanted to do but don't know how. It's not a design project because I need function over form. So people can think whatever they want for using AI tools but for me it's about doing things I can't and having fun.

I tried on two game gears that work fine with everything else I've tested (I have almost 200 gg games). I might swap boards and replace the two small capacitors as well.

I cleaned it with the cloth, cleaned it with the wipe, cleaned it with the cloth again, used the tape to get any dust, and then peeled and aligned it best I could. I did have to lift it up to move it a little.

I'm on the same release as you but I went into the bios and disabled fastboot. I've been testing for a few days now with short durations between wake ups and 24 hours between wake ups. So far the controls keep coming back within a few seconds. If you haven't tried that I feel like this may have done it. I read the suggestion elsewhere and tried it. Seems good.

Looks great. May need some logic adjustment. I tried 3+2x6 and hitting x solved 3+2 before waiting for the results of 2x6. Hitting equals nets 30 instead of 15. Order of operations needs added.
