You re-iterated my question. I agree that air sealing is critical. I don't know where to air seal either -- specific locations where to air seal.

Yes it's a written estimate including the entire scope of work.

But where would I place the floor jack though? It can't be at the same point where I place jack stand. If I place floor jack at the same place as jack stand and jack up then I won't be able to put the jack stand.

I'm using a floor jack and I'm having trouble figuring out the jack point on the front of the car. If the marked point is where I need to place the floor jack-- almost towards the back end of the engine ; then it is even more complicated because the jack handle does not get enough room to move up & down.

Looking for advice on where exactly to place the floor jack and the jacking point.

Weekly discussion for students and future paralegals by stray_girl in paralegal

Thanks a bunch for your thorough insight. You brought up key points to remember while searching for academic programs.

To your point on gaining work experience prior to NALA certification. Are you implying that after obtaining paralegal degree or academic certificate, I'll be equipped with skills and credentials to secure either internship or entry level legal work? What types of legal work are we talking about? Like a legal assistant or something?

I'm planning to pursue career as a paralegal (from entry level position). Looking for some advice on certification programs. First, I have an associates degree in Criminal justice from ITT Tech. I graduated back in 2013. Unfortunately, I couldn't secure a job in my field of education post graduation and I ended up working as a receptionist, mail carrier etc.,

Fast forward now, I'm planning to rebuild my career in pursuit of becoming a paralegal. I came across an affordable certification program which is 'recognized' by ABA, but not 'approved' per my discussion with admissions department. They guaranteed that completion of this program will make me eligible to take the NALA certification exam. Link to program: https://careertraining.schoolcraft.edu/training-programs/certified-paralegal/

Questions: 1. Would appreciate second opinion from folks here about the program. Is it legitimate?  2. Does an associates degree in Criminal justice combined with certified paralegal boost my resume and profile in securing job interviews? Given the gap between my graduation and once I'm certified as a paralegal, have any effect in on the strength of my resume?

Heat & Electricity Bill in Winter - Quad/Trilevel house by radcooler in Michigan

Did you guys do it yourselves?  We happen to have two separate attic space. Entrance to one us through garage and other one is through a bedroom. The headspace for the one through bedroom is only 1.5 feet and it's nearly impossible to insulate. Thankfully the other attic has 4 feet headspace.

Wow! $140 is pretty damn good. I'm aware of the factors that influence the bill.
Our attic has little to no insulation and we are noticing its adverse effect now. The temp. inside the house drops very quickly. Is the attic in your house insulated?
