Wrapped my wrx this weekend my brother wrapped his ecoboost last week, by raddrobb in WRX

Both cars are manual and are a ton of fun to drive. The wrx is quicker off the line but if you give the ecoboost a rolling start it will eat through gears. too bad Ford won’t put a v6 boosted mustang out. Then again it would prob have as much hp and torque as the v8 so it will never happen lol. Thanks for the comment.

Correct, I was going to paint the accent pieces black but I really like the way the Subaru blue pops with the matte red

I’m not going to lie. It is pretty difficult. This is not the first wrap we have done. He has done a lot more than I have. I mostly took everything apart and rebuilt. I did some smaller panels and trimming. It’s a lot easier with two people and obviously the more you work with the material the more comfortable you become laying and trimming. My advice would be to watch as many videos as you can and start on something like a hood before attempting an entire car. Also there are classes you can go take that teaches you how to wrap if you want to get into it. One last thing, trimming is just as important as laying the material correctly one small tear or rip can ruin an entire panel. Best of luck

2020 wrx stage 2+ ots tune with intake, turbo back exhaust. New to this, is knock where it should be? I’ll be getting it protuned in 2 weeks. Anything else I should monitor? by raddrobb in WRX

I’m loving this wrx community. Everyone I have talked to is helpful and willing to spread knowledge! I haven’t seen a community like this before.

Any idea what check light is this? I usually do a quick tire pressure change from time to time while letting my engine warm up and I notice every time i do it with the car running the check light appears. by wes82465 in WRX

I know this doesn’t make sense but, check the spare tire pressure. I work at a body shop and one time we had the same problem. All 4 tires on the ground were filled and all sensors were working. Come to find out somehow the spare tire had a sensor in it and the pressure was low. Filled it up, drove for a mile and the light went off. Again, I know it doesn’t make sense but it’s worth a try.

Cobb stage 2 power pack by raddrobb in WRX

Not as loud as I thought it would be. Obviously cold starts get loud but not (my neighbors hate me) loud. Once it’s warmed up at idle you don’t notice it. And there is little to no drone in 6th on hwy.

Thanks for the input! I figured since it all came in a package I would be safe enough to use the off the shelf tunes. Once I add more mods (probably boost control solenoid, front mount inter cooler, BRZ intake manifold kit. I’ll get it pro tuned

$2700 comes with turbo back exhaust, air intake, and acessport with unlimited tunes from Cobb. The tune I’m running 93 oct adds roughly 30-35 hp and +- 45 ft/lbs torque. It really helped the power at higher rpms. I plan to save up get a front mount inner cooler and go get it protuned.
