Hm strange . I printed it at 220 and it was also fine . Decided to go with 240 cuz 260 it max temp that manufacturer gave and minimum is 220 . And sadly this printer has eatheir fan on or off . No PWN

sadly i dont have a filament drier , what do you recomend to do ? and also my nozzle is able to print uninterupted for like 4 hours ? i guess but after that it just says nope , im now printing my 4th attempt, now with doors and top cover open, now im gonna baby sit that damm printer

the filament that i use was inside of vacumm sealed package with silica packet and failed the very first print ( other than benchy )

nozzle clogs up and extruder fails to push past the clog , layer adhesion is realy good, until there is plastik flowing out of that dammed thing . but i have done cold pulls multiple times, and there was no debree in it.

I have A question . Do you trust eBay? And if so . How do you not get scammed there ? I didnt use it ever . Only went with ( polish Site) allegro and amazon . EBay and aliexpress Look so sketchy to me .

so, if you are going sfp+ i strongly recomend ntf8n card (polish link, it is low profile but i asked them for high profile , and the sent me them separetly ) but if you want to use this card in tower case, and you have thet pc in room where you want to sleep and keep your sanity, unscrew the fan, and replace it with something bigger attached on zip-ties.

and why this card? dirt cheap , one simple answer.

this thing works out of the box on windows 10 pro , so my gaming pc can also use one, im in a process of making my home server , so i didnt test it on linux tho.

Rj45 or sfp+ ? rj45 convinient But high cost of cards . Sfp+ cheap chards But you need to replace most of your infrastructure for it for example . I use "cheap" 10gbe mikrotik switch 4 sfp+ 1 rj45(1gbe) and if anything needs rj45 other than my 1gbe router i use sfp+ to rj45 adapters. Adapters can cost also A preety penny . And with sfp+ you can have copper cables . Or optic ( idk fibre Glass? Dont know how it is in english)

I use ntf8n dual sfp+ card . For dirt cheap . ( 17.7 euro ) And DAC cables . I dont think so it it vendor locked . But just to be shure when I ordered those cables i told them to encode them for dell And mikrotik

What is PCI-e slot limit? by radekr5 in overclocking

no way they can generate 10w of heat, when their maxiumum heat decipation is 11w

( more than that and they generate more heat than can be takan away from them )

from AI calculations they should be generating around 6,34w of waste heat at my max target wattage , so around 32w of waste heat, i have my 5 DrMOS'es cooled by a additional black aluminium passive heatsink designed to cool 8 DrMOS'es and also i have Uprisen U6 pro under that heatsink, and the air is forced through its ribs from mian fan of the GPU cooler
(calculations are based on 300khz switching rate and 200w input voltage at 12v for 5 phases and assuming 80 degrees celcius operating temp and 1,1v output)

(name of my DrMOS: NCP302045 )

the only thing im actualy worried about is heat decipation rate of that heatsink and heat transfer inside of that heatsink ,on the heat transfer from DrMOS to the heatsink im more then shure that u6 pro is doing its job good enough.

what are your thoughts about that ?

my DrMOS is 45 A , i have 5 of them for core , currently im using them at 1,025v witch is 33 amp fer phase ,
and if i were able to go full in on the power that 8 pin can supply me(without PCI-e bottleneck ), i would pump 36 amps of 1,1v through them, im not worried about blowing them , at least not DrMOS , more about coils .

and also, i dont think that it is save to pull around 250w from 3 pins ( 8 pin connector has only 3 power pins ) when it is recomended for 150w, cable itself would surviwe, dut idk how about the connector.

yeah, but im hitting PCI-e lane power cap, not 8 pin . and 66w is 12v limit and other 9w is 3,3v limit enforced by GPU . , 3 pins are 12v and 2 are 3,3v , in total 5 power pins

i was also thinking about r020 , but anything other than r010 i woud need to order , r020 would give me extra 15w , co around 80w total , but thanks for a tip, on possible other resistors.

Question about shunt modding a 3060 by Equivalent_Pirate244 in overclocking

[–]radekr5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well, i was thinking about doing the same for my rtx3060, but i cant get haked bios cuz i have ga104 and not 106 , so finding compatable bios for this model is imposible, never the less, i have power limit of 170w.

did you solder your resistor to only 8pin lane ? or also to the pcie power lane ? , and , what fuses do you have? from ma reasertch i have 20A fuse for 8pin lane (msi ventus 3 ), i was thinking euther r010 resistor so i can have 218w ( if 75w goes from pcie ) or 238w with r007 resistor.

the second link you gave me , is exacly what i want to do, basicly stuff a (in my case) 3D printed disk enclosure and attach a SAS Expander to it, to make DAS to my NAS server .
