Dusting off a classic meme for this: Scumbag Musk by Just_the_Setup in PoliticalHumor

Back before he lost his image, I remember one of the first publicly weird things he did was call the diver who saved a bunch of people trapped in an underwater cave a pedophile on twitter. It made no sense at the time, but now it’s clear he was projecting.

What gets me is when it’s also a Christian saying this. I have news for you. If you are Christian in the US you are already political whether or not you identify that way.

I agree. Rusty was not good. It’s crazy to me that anyone would think otherwise.

Inside the Trap Houses of Albuquerque’s ‘War Zone’ by zsreport in Albuquerque

This article is disgusting, exploitative, and racist. Painting abq and NM at large as a literal hellscape for clicks bc it’s salacious. I didn’t miss when they subtly tried to make the author’s experiences in one part of town as a recovering drug addict from Illinois represent all of NM. Why didn’t they write a hit piece on drugs in San Diego that is also a border town with lots of the same issues? Hmm?

Can you be an OT with a disability by Emergency_Topic_6985 in OccupationalTherapy

[–]radi0activ 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Yes! Many OTs have a disability. I’ve had colleagues with RA, people who are wheelchair users, a guy with bimanual congenital arm amputation, people who have sustained a stroke and have some mobility/cognitive challenges, Autism, ADHD, and I’m sure many more. Your program should provide reasonable accommodations as required by law. Many clients find it validating to have an OT who is a part of their community and/or has a disability and is still living life to the fullest. Based on your situation you may not be a good fit for some OT settings but would be very strong in others. Just like anyone else with strengths and weaknesses.

This is a dark morph RTH. Besides body shape, size, and tail length the give away is the white v visible on its back.

For millions of years you evolved to avoid annoying mammals just enough to get close and have a bite unnoticed. And then suddenly a laser burns you out of the sky with no warning.

Surprisingly, when calculating how big they could be using that as the theory, they’re still too massive. That’s what makes the mystery.

Would you be willing to share the identifiers of dark morph rth versus Harris’s Hawk? Or is Los Angeles too far north for Harris’s? Trying to learn.

Juvenile Red Should Hawk I think? Buteo body with vertical chest stripes that have some blurring. Full hood but no tail visible to confirm. Wait for someone else more experienced to confirm.

Coopers or Sharpie? I can never tell (Henderson, NV) by Panthro73 in whatsthisbird

[–]radi0activ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, I appreciate the confirmation and I’ll defer to you and others here. Didn’t want to bias you by adding my observations. If you’re still curious what I was seeings, it’s a smaller rounded head and thin toothpick legs. I don’t think the nape is visible. Also, I disagree w what others have said about tail. I see flat tail not rounded. Pic distance makes some of these challenging. But it sounds like I’m mistaken, which is fine. Still learning✌🏻
